Pewsey Downs: a Flight throught History

- It is 1°C / 38°F 🥶, it's raining 🌧, miserable weather - so I venture to Pewsey Downs, Wiltshire with my camera and drones. Located about 4 miles South of Avebury, as such, it is steeped in history. That paired with being the highest point in Wiltshire, it makes a great place to fly with spectacular views! 🤩
In this video walk to:
1. Knap Hill, Britains first Causewayed Enclosure dating back nearly 6 millenia
2. Adam's Grave, a Neolithic Chambered Long Barrow built 3,500 BC
3. Alton Barnes White Horse, at Milk Hill, carved in 1812

Nice one. loved it. Such a beautiful area. You have done the location justice. Good info on area. Shame about the mud. no pain no gain. The mist made it so atmospheric . I realise the pro would be ok in that wind. Hope the Mini 2 was ok. Cheers see u again soon. The Mini does punch above its weight. I too have the Mini 2 Zoom 2 And the old Air 1 in white. 🥂🥂👏
Thanks Mike & Sue 👍 Great feedback 🙏 I am starting to think I am a Mud Magnet 😖 The Mavic 2 Pro (same as your Zoom but without the zoom) is rock steady in the wind, and your right, the Mini 2 defies science the way it handles itself. I had it 100m above the summit of Pen y Fan on Saturday, above the clouds - with no issue (which is more than I can say for my knees after that walk!) 👍

You are dedicated to the cause. The sites that you pick are always so interesting. I really like the way nature has sculpted the hills. Couldn't help notice the lovely clean cream interior of the motor! It will have taken a beating on the last few trips (sorry) :) Thank you!
Thanks Clive! I loving the outdoors, whatever the weather 😉 And Britain has so much to offer, especially in the way of history. Funnily enough, I had the chance to get black leather seats, but I opted for cream. Starting to regret that now, especially after Barbury Castle! 😂 Thanks as always! Chris
