I had canceled my pre order on this guy because of shelf space and was starting to regret it ,but now I'm glad I did, those ankles are terrible. I can't have a freaking demolition ball tumbling down my shelves. Hopefully the new comic bane won't have problems like that.
All you have to do is find the right pose and thats all. I figure out that the base could give you a lot o balance with the wings and the torso. Talking about the size, its big, but you could make him a little bit short trying to crossing their arms.
I had the choice of Man Bat or Killer Croc and I chose Croc because he doesn't have as many limitations. I think if you review him you should like him more.
Faaaaarrrrk man! 😆🤣 The way you ever-so-smoothly manage to incorporate 'That's what she said" into the review! Priceless!! You should do a compilation video of all the times you've 'slipped it in' (that's what she said!) 😆😂
I like the matte diaper, should have done all of the pants matte. Shouldn't have to do this, but - If these are anything like the ankles on the redeemer figure from the spawn line, I took them off, split them in half and then put glue on each portion of the ankle ball, let it mostly dry then put it back together and moved it a little bit to make sure it didn't totally lock together. It's still functional as an ankle, but that added enough friction that it holds him up much better now.
Zup Anthony, I think we can concluded that Mcfarlane likes Batman as much as you do👍🏼, I say keep them coming, the stand is the best accessory, be advised you can fix the joints with some, thanks for the video bro 😎
Batman has so many looks with a great cast of characters, so I'm happy that there's a lot of Batman in the multiverse line. I agree with McFarlane that there should be a normal Batman on shelves 12 months of the year.
I can't wait until you review the McFarlane DC Multiverse Parrallax. I just bought one from WM on my way home from work for $19.87. The circle on the chest is upside down to the package picture. The figure doesn't have gray hair on the sides of the head like in the picture. And many more discrepancies between the figure and the picture on the package. You'll get a kick out of this figure I'm sure.
You know I love Batman a ton but it would be nice to get more variety outside the justice league and current show characters. Even some animal companions would be nice like a Dope Ace and Krypto. I was excited for the new Static Shock Figure till I saw him but hoping he makes a variant that is a bit better looking to me. Them not being able to stand neutral has been incredibly annoying.
Mcfarlane should go the mafex route and make waves or lines based on certain stories, and try to replicate the look of the chatscters from that story really close. The most recent example would be their newly announced bane, ehich is just...there, not saying its bad, but i really wish the line would be more consistent.
The lack of trigger finger hands is disappointing... As for someone who doesn't collect Batman. I appreciate its in the line, cause DC is solely about Batman for a lot of people, it makes the line as a whole successful and profitable for DC and McFarlane to keep making figures, and it gives my wallet a break.
Would you do a McFarlane Lobo review? Yes, I´m done with Batman and characters of his universe. Give them a rest. There´s still not even a regular Wonder Woman figure yet tons of Batman universe figures. What about Black Canary, Firestorm, Captain Atom, Spectre...? And if McFarlane loves horror/monster characters there´s his chance to make Blue Devil, Trigon, Creeper, Bleez, Silver Banshee... PS Agreed with the comment regarding the looks of certain characters. While yes, there are some that have definitive costumes from specific times, there are others where it doesn´t matter the least as they have a general look all the time.
One of the biggest issues mcfarlane has with the dc multiverse figures is definitely articulation, wich if you think about it articulation is kind of new to mcfarlane toys because for years thier figures had like what five points to zero articulation;hell from the late 90s and early 2000s all thier figures were basically statues.
Boy I was going to buy this fig. I love the sculpt. Looks big but after seeing this review I’ll past. Come on McFarland, you need to address the standing issues on some of your figures. That tiny foot disc can even hold up a regular figure. I have Mortal Kombat Spawn that keeps falling amid the disc. Thanks for this review.
Shame this guy can't stand good because he looks awesome. I might get him but those loose joints will be pretty annoying especially when doing stop motion. I like Batman a lot too but wouldn't mind seeing other DC characters like the Teen Titans
Holy shit (I know I’m late btw) but there are so many Batman figures it’s not funny. It’s a crime that we haven’t got a classic Wonder Woman, Hawkman, Hawkgirl, Zatanna, Powergirl ect yet. There are so many different Heroes and Villains that they can use but no, it’s just a different version of Batman or Superman related figures. To be fair Todd has released some absolute bangers and is starting to realise l us fans want classic or recent versions of these characters. I’m really excited for Impulse, Black Manta and Jay Garrick
Batman is my favorite dc property but I wouldn’t mind seeing some green lantern characters. Aside from that, all I care about is how cool they come out
Watching you trying to get him to stand is such a shame. I thought this dude looked cool and I was thinking of getting him to display with my Neca Alien vs. Batman, but I’ll probably skip this guy. I’ll check out your clayface review next since I was thinking of getting him too.
DC Superheroes had a more diverse character selection and that line was strictly limited to Batman and Superman characters, at least that made y’know, villains and supporting cast members way more often
Batman's also my favorite DC hero but in saying that, we need more villains than just Batman variants. Sure we got a fair amount but what about Mr. Freeze? A classic Riddler? Ra's Al Ghul? Lots of untapped potential but I'm still waiting on the rest of the 2003 Teen Titans after Cyborg Man-Bat's a step in the right direction and my biggest issue is no flight stand. McFarlane has a perfectly good flight stand that could be resized to accommodate bigger figures and it'd solve the standing problem. Wrists are weird too, could have included alternate arms with claw hands so you're not just limited to that pose
Excellent analysis. This looks a good starting point for a great custom and I wanted a megafig manbat and I like the overall sculpt they went for, but I want a finished product not a project. The legs are unforgivable, the fists were designed on a Friday afternoon then forgotten, that pink paint is hideous and the teeth are ridiculous. I'll already be paying around the equivalent of $60 for one where I live and have you seen what mezco has coming?
I’m definitely ok with them just sticking to Batman stuff, I just wished it was Batman stuff I wanted, like more classic looking villains, not a million alternate dimension versions of Batman
Why wouldn’t he rate the cake? That’s what I say! 🎂🎂🎂. That’s such a bummer that he can barely stand. Lol to the final pose. Thanks for the awesome review Anthony😽🤟💯💗
I watch all your videos, I enjoy your reviews even when not interested in the character but I still wonder why you rate the ass hahaha I mean, I know it's a funny idea but it's still confusingly funny, so it's like, yeah, that happens lol and it's hilarious when you clarify about it for the unfamilar viewers xD
Answer to your question- I don't mind if they do other characters in the Batman universe as well- villains, supporting cast, etc. Are you planning to review Killer Croc? Hopefully that one is a good one.
I am okay with Batman being featured a lot in this line. Sure, it's taking forever to get other characters, but we are getting them little by little. Also, any toy company that gets a license for Batman is a goldmine for them. So it is expected that we see a heavy amount of Batman merch. I do like my figures to stand on their own. Lol
Im ok woth mainly Batman related stuff. However McFarlane needs to get his shit together and start supervising to make these figures good. Lots of problems that can easily be fixed

Too long legs, side eyes, crap costumes no one cares about(Static), or a lack of important accessories. Man-Bat, had to cancel, it's too much a statue(which I don't want) without being a great statue. If it's on a nice sale, I might pick it up, but I can miss it in the collection. Which is a shame. I still don't get why they won't sculpt better articulation. At first I thought they were reusing parts and so they had to make due with their mistakes. But these more unique figures has the same problem.
ACqoTD: I am not as sick as watching Hasbro ML Spider-Man figure reviews. 2022 marks Spidey's 60th, I just didn't expect 60 Spideys from Hasbro. I am so disappointed this figure cannot remain at least standing erect without being propped. It isn't a deal breaker for me, but puts posing him more in a position it will balance rather than what I would like. But the killer for me are the hands. I will not be getting this product simply because of the hands. First off, the character doesn't fly with closed fists unless he is diving (and even then) on a prey, so their selection is a real deal breaker for me. I could possibly balance it if it had open hands and a counter balance could be used, but sadly that's not the case. As a statue it is art. As a posable figure, it fails.
I guess I am part of the problem because I am a sucker for Batman and his characters. That said, I wish we would get figures from Teen Titans/Young Justice and a proper Wonder Woman.
It’s disappointing that the wings are just scrunched and can’t expand for flight mode. Great sculpt but the cons outweigh the pros. I’ll stick to the DCUC version.

I'm sick of all the Batmans but not the Batman-related characters - give me more of Batman's villains, allies, and supporting cast, and less of Batman himself. I would literally buy even Ace the Bathound if they made a (good) figure.
This, killer croc, and the new bane are the new figures I'm most looking forward to you reviewing

I think man bat could've been a normal release instead of being a mega fig. If he had an open wing option i would definitely get him.
Truly having a blast building my batman collection with all the cool variations and these villains really add a different dimension to the collection.
My problem with the DC line is that we don't have as many Lobo figures as batman variants.
I had the choice of Man Bat or Killer Croc and I chose Croc because he doesn't have as many limitations. I think if you review him you should like him more.
Awesome figure IMO
The cake rating is hilarious 😂
It's a shame that Man Bat's wings cannot be opened... that would have given this figure more presence, grandeur and majesty

Would make a great base for a custom Werewolf figure.
I was thinking the same darn thing
I think Manbat had the same elongated pinky finger with only 2-3 functional fingers on his hands, in his "The Batman" series appearance, iirc.
Batman has so many looks with a great cast of characters, so I'm happy that there's a lot of Batman in the multiverse line. I agree with McFarlane that there should be a normal Batman on shelves 12 months of the year.
