Living in Germany on 12.000€/year

Last year 2021 I spent roughly 12.000€ in total, and this includes rent, transportation costs, food, trips, clothes..., so basically everything. How do I know the exact amount? Well I manually introduce all my expenses for every month in an excel spreadsheet. To be honest it is not particularly exciting to do this but the information that you obtain afterwards is extremelly valuable and I feel like everyone should do this.
