This guy needs to review every rv I watch. Super knowledgeable, detail oriented gives great tips and advice and brutally honest. I also love that he walks you through things. I went into this thinking okay this is going to be something overpriced lol but then I found myself glued to the screen with oooooohhh and aaahhhhhh’s lol because of his review skills. I swear if I see this mans face on anymore videos of yours I’m subbing 🤣😂

I Have watched at least 50 videos of salesmen showing travel trailers and slide in truck campers This guy is phenomenal amazing. The BEST OMG. Its not a review, check the title.
The fridge was glossed over very quickly. Airstream was having issues with their propane fridges (ancient technology but worked off grid on propane). So they switched to Nova Kool 12V compressor fridges from Canada - well known reputable brand. However, there was no solar power install on any trailer to support the fridges, which means, these fridges will not work off grid in factory setup. You have to install a full solar setup yourself to support the fridge. At $61,000 for the 16RB Caravel, plus $10% tax = $61,610, its outrageous not to have a solar setup:
1. A 325 watt Mono Tesla solar glass panel is $230
2. 2 100 amp AGM Deep Cycle Batteries is $250 at most or less.
3. True Sine Wave 2000 Watt Inverter costs $400 most models.
4. Cable, fuses, and connections $50
5. MPPT Charge Controller 30 amps $120
6. Other misc junk $100
7. Total comes to: $1150 for a robust system that would support that small fridge and provide recharging or AC to other appliances. This is at retail pricing not cheaper commercial pricing which would be half.
For close to $62K, Airstream is too cheap to provide $500 worth of solar setup? Pathetic. Just sad.
By contrast, I could DIY myself a whole van not a trailer, functionally better than this product, bigger, and with everything on it, and more. Why on earth would I buy this non functional toy?

I rented a 30 foot RV, couldn't believe how much work was involved. Doesn't feel like a vacation when you have to pay to dump your poop and can't even stand all the way up in the shower

Its like listening to my dad explain mechanical things to me but he's not getting frustrated i'm not holding the flashlight steady.

He’s obviously been an owner operator himself. He’s selling something he believes in and is passionate about. Airstream is a niche industry with amazing followers and support. I hope this video allows those thinking about this purchase a positive reason to do so. I’m strongly considering a purchase for the many reasons he outlines. Great video.

Don't know exactly how I ended up at this site, but I wanna be that guy! Clear and concise! Me, on the other hand, with even something as simple as giving directions has to start of with....Well,...(You know someone's getting ready to tell you a story when it starts out with...Well. If someone messes up this unit, it certainly won't be for the lack of instructions by this guy! Excellent demo my friend!

You can add a Fiamma awning fully electric. However, slightest breeze and awning starts to self close. Pain in the butt.

Wow! Great walk through video for a new camper! U totally went over everything! I'm a picky person & impressed with this video so breaking down the bed and things is helpful to see.
I guess my only recommendation would be for u to stand in the shower to show the maneuvering elbow room, sit on the toilet to show the maneuvering room, haha, lay on the bed, etc. The tips shown are very valuable, so maybe verbally comparing this airstream to older models or other similar brands would be useful to know for us consumers. Thanks for doing this video!
I am getting the idea Chris does not want you coming back, asking stupid questions, I don't blame him!!!! He speaks clearly. We need more Chris in life, I am sick of people saying ummm, and so, I forgot, hold on ect.

This trailer must be a bit of an exercise for the older campers or travelers. Younger hiking type fine....it just came to mind, watching this video....make a preflight list...🤭👍🏻
