Only an amazing composer like Hummel could composed this masterpiece of harmony. The dialogue established between the piano and the other instruments is magnificent and gives us an unforgettable listening experience. Thanks for this remarkable recording and for the delight moments of musical pleasure it provides.

Just love this exhilarating performance !! and I am soooo ! glad that the fortepiano was not replaced by the piano. This is certainly just as Hummel meant it to be !
The piano never ends... this must be very difficult for the pianist! Hummel is a genius for intertwining concertant instruments (and for many other things!)
I imagine myself going to hear any of these Septets in the early afternoon (with my lovely companion) and then proceeding to a delightful dinner/supper.

Love the period instruments. The colors really suit the music whereas modern instruments would sound tedious. A musical time machine.
