Man the frost armor unit really triggers my OCD. It's *almost* permanent due to Mana Regen, like It's 25 Mana with a 10 sec duration and I'd estimate around 2 Mana Regen per second. So it's got at least a 2.5s downtime, but then she stands around and doesn't recast it right away. I don't get why it was designed that way. It's so close to just having a 100% uptime, why doesn't it?
I think the point is to be permanent, but it's really hard to code into the custom game so they tried to tike it with mana regen to be recast when it would normally run out.
My wild guess is, the ability was supposed to be one time use, but permanent and able to be switched units that die to units that are still alive and kicking, and that is hard to implement into the custom game.
It can be coded, it's not that hard. I guess they wanted to have some small down time?

It's not the same every time actually every time is a very different situation you must face, also you must feel the satisfaction of clearing the wave and putting the towers perfectly and the greed/gambling choice of building a tower or get more gaaawld/wood for the next rounds.
Probably the same reason why people stick to this game for almost 2 decades
