Great job and fantastic detail. It really looks like a real old building. I enjoyed your video and the techniques to achieve the final look. Thanks for sharing and be safe. 👍🚂🚂🚂🚂🚂
Dear Debbie, love how you’ve built and shown the build of this FOS Scale kit. Don’t know if the manufacturer advertised this building as a mansard roof, or that you chose to call it such. This particular roofline isn’t a full mansard. A full mansard has a top with a shallower angle. In the Dutch language we would call this type of roof “samengesteld dak.” In English ‘combined roof.’ In this case the lower end of the mansard, combined with a flat top. Originally French, designed by mr. Mansart. These roofs were often clad on steep grade, with zinc losanges and on the shallower top grade with standing seam zinc covering. The comment on the mansard origin just FYI. Just as a reminder, I love how you built and painted this little building!!

Nice job on the presentation. I just subbed to your channel. I love your work, wood is not my favorite medium to work in. I prefer styrene or resin.
Thanks Paul. I prefer wood but well done for working in resin - that’s a real art
