When the Leo moon was an infant, they were most of the time constantly given a lot of attention by a parenting figure. This doesn’t necessarily mean that all of their emotional and physical needs were met, or it could, but it could also mean that the mothering figure was mostly present when the child needed something, but that they didn’t hand over the right needs, however, they did make sure that you at least felt good. Maybe the moon in Leo mother distracted you by giving toys instead of a bottle, hence you felt that entertainment is a sign of love.
This is speaking without taking into account the aspects, a Leo moon indicates someone who uses compliments and praise to feel better. So let’s say if you get on Leo moons bad side, a lot of the times, if you apologize and tell them what a great friend, lover, sister they are, they’d be okay. Genuinely ofcourse.
As a Leo moon, it is not easy for you to change your habit patterns because of the fact that Leo is a fixed sign. There’s very little that can get the moon in Leo down. You have unmatched willpower.
But at the same time, you deeply rely on your self-love and other’s proof of their love for you to get by. As a Leo moon, if you are not able to feel loved by others, to balance things out, you bump up the level of self-love. This can be healthy most of the time, however there are times when Leo moons needs to admit their mistakes and apologize, or maybe give to others without asking for anything in return…and this can be hard for a Leo moon who has bumped up their level of self-love so high that admitting mistakes or giving for the sake of giving can feel like it’s a threat to their self-love. They are protecting themselves because innately there’s some insecurity.
It’s quite sad to see an insecure Leo moon because of all the moon signs, this one has the most potential to BE the most secure, loving, and entertaining. But that’s why ingrained habits can dim our light. Habits are not who we really are. Bad habits are created for self-protection which is needed when we feel that the walls we have built to protect our self is threated to be broken down by outside forces and that if it breaks, the self-love we have created inside this wall will no longer exist….well if that’s the case then it’s not real love is it.
Accepting that we have done someone else wrong, IS THE act of self-love. It’s not about the Moon in Leo being in the highest version of oneself from day 1, because no one was born high. It’s about allowing the self to be vulnerable to evolve and transform to its highest version throughout life. Giving that to yourself as a Leo moon is the potential of self-love. Each time you make a mistake and apologize, you become more humble and you make someone else feel better, and you know exactly what you must not do next time to repeat the mistake.
So, if you have a Leo moon or for any moon sign that I talk about here in this series…. the habit patterns need to be changed.
If you are in a relationship with a Leo moon, the most important thing that you need to know is that they are very independent people and they don’t usually bend to you. So let’s say you did something wrong by the Leo moons, you need to be the one that comes to them and talk about things. Otherwise they will be okay with just saying goodbye and going off on their own. Well I think that’s a pretty obvious situation, but let’s say you get into a fight and you feel you didn’t do anything wrong and maybe THEY the Leo moon also feel they didn’t do anything wrong either…then you really need to be the one who comes around first and kind of is like….let’s talk about this. You know? Because they won’t, they can be stubborn. And the Leo moon would be completely open to talk to you and compromise with you, and they will be honest.

I'm a leo moon & felt like you were speaking DIRECTLY to my soul lol. In my young teen years like in middle school I was very insecure due to bullying & i struggled a lot with depression but it really took THAT for me to truly step into my power & strength and really truly soar unapologetically. And since then ive been told by dusty bitches "oh you like attention bla bla bla" like no baby but if i step into a room and light up im not apologizing for it, if all eyes are on me, its cause im truly glowing & im not even trying to do so, my energy just speaks for me now sorry if thats makes you insecure..lol my biggest mistake as a leo moon was watering myself down for others NEVER AGAIN i knew there was a reason why i was born a leo moon because i am born to SHINE BITCH! & as far as relationships go, i alwayssssss have expectations and if they are not met i have no problem cutting people off like i never met them, i have found that that is truly the way to live a life of peace and harmony. cutting people off has had me stress free, and ill be damned if i get pre-mature wrinkles for putting up with someones BS! Now, i get asked all the time how do i do it? how am i so confident, how do i love myself so much? and i LOVE IT!!!

this is so funny that you said “when you don’t receive love from others, Leo moons bump up their own self love.” It reminded me of my first moment when I had a big Leo moment. My friend group in 7th grade all stopped hanging out with me and I would have to see them in the hallways after school everyday and though I was really sad about being cut off from the group I would walk down the hallways with my chest out and a huge smile on my face. It’s like my whole body instinctively chose to present myself in such a confident way even though I was hurt deeply. So, yeah if astrology isn’t real how can you explain that moment then? 😂
