DIY Dark Chocolate Snack

  • 1/4 cup (56g) cacao butter or coconut oil
    2 tablespoons cacao powder (it is bitter yet more nutritious than cocoa powder)
    2 tablespoons coconut milk powder (omit if allergic to nuts)
    2 tablespoons plant based powder sweetener or 1/2 teaspoon of liquid stevia
    1/8-1/4 teaspoon of sea salt
    Dash of cinnamon
    1/2 teaspoon of vanilla extract
    Melt the cacao butter or coconut oil. Make sure it is not too hot, because it will cause the other ingredients to clump up.
    Add all the ingredients one at a time and stir each time.
    Taste the mixture to see if it is sweet enough.
    Put the mixture in silicone trays and freeze for about 30 minutes. Once frozen, pluck the chocolate out and store in a plastic ziplock bag and keep in the freezer for future consumption.
