Excellent video. Explained everything without saying a word.
One of the best AT fairing removal vidios on RUclips, lots of the other vidios don't use enough light. Thank you 👍
Thank you! Saved me sooooo much time. Well done!
Meine Güte ist das verbaut. Da muss man ja das halbe Moped zerlegen. Vielen Dank für das Video! Hoffentlich bekomm ich das auch wieder zusammen 😂
Klasse Danke für die Anleitung
Danke!.
J’ai eu exactement le même problème 😅
Thanks a million!
Somehow I managed to push the lower the female screw inside te frame and I couldnt dissembly the fairing, and it drove me crazy... thanks again!
J’ai eu exactement le même problème 😂
really helpful thanks. especially as they have located the fuse for the socket behind all this faring... madness.
Thanks for the video. I have had dozens of bikes and am quite proficient at removing bodywork but I thought I would hedge my bets and watch this one before starting on my Africa Twin. As it turns out the fairing removal is tricky so I used the same angle and hand position as the video and at 4:49 I snapped both tabs off the inner upper left front fairing. User beware. I'm going to attempt a plastic repair but I could be out hundreds of $. No fault of the video but for whatever reason every tab I removed was much more stuck than the bike in the video.
Firespeed996 hmm, could be because of the grease I put on all pins and rubber parts... I removed the whole fairing about 10 times, also on other ATs, ALL of them are still fine. I don't have magic powers, can not cure cancer by laying on of hands - I just use experiences and stop before breaking... I do not cheat, have no fake fairing or broken parts with cable ties. Not the number of bikes counts, but the hours of working on them. Nevertheless sorry for your parts, buddy.
That's a very helpful video! Thanks a lot!
Super cooles video. Werde es demnächst versuchen. Brauche den Zubehörstecker für das Navi. Danke
Danke!
Thank you for the help. Now I just need to put it all back together.
merci beaucoup très bien expliquer

Brilliant video. Well done mate.
Very nice video thanks man.
Very good job
Do you think to make even a video of DISASSEMBLING REAR FAIRING?
Mate, really thank for this video.
But really, THANK U MUCH.
THANK YOU A MILLION !!!!!
+Zoran Jager you're welcome.
Danke dir für dein Video!!
Hi, beautiful video to show how disassembly. I have a question, when I removed the front fairing (the one at 11:38) two threaded rubbers falled down. Any idea of where can be placed?
Danke! 💛
Top!
perfect.
Very well done, all easy to see. What is your filming setup?
Thanks mate really helpful guide gracias amigo
Thanks for this video, really nice. Where did you pass the group of cables that feed the navigator? I can not find a place, they are too many.
thx.
THANK You!!!
Excelente sus videos. Pregunta : donde esta conectado el GPS?
Thanks Cheers
good informative vid , music drives you mad though !
Do you know why there is a hole in the breeze in AT???
Hi! Great video. Got my AT 2 1/2 weeks ago here in the states.....love it!! Don't regret trading my '14 R1200GSLC one bit! Question, I'm gonna connect up my accessory socket and Zumo with the Touratech mount. Mind describing how you connected the Zumo to power. Is there a plug for the Zumo and the socket? Thanks!
Hi Tobin, first thanks for your commendation! :)
To your question: its not discribable in two sentences..
You have two possibilities to connect your accessory stuff, Honda implemented two plugs.
The 1st (4pin) plug is behind the dash panel, the 2nd (6pin) underneath the pillion seat. Both plugs/wires are running over the same 10A fuse.
You can buy the Honda Accessory cable kit for your stuff, but its pretty expensive. Or you buy the fitting connector for one of these plugs in China (google for sealed multi pin 2.2 connector). I ordered a 100 piece set of each plug, but it will be pretty expensive to send it to you to USA. :)
The front plug has an blind plug with black rubber sealings attached. Maybe you have a fitting pin then you can use this blind plug.
The front plug supplies just power with ignition on - so you cant charge the battery with it.
The rear plug supplies ignition on AND permanent power. I recorded another video especially for that accessory problem. There you can see where the plugs are located and what each cable color is for --> ruclips.net/video/ZVHX7S6sS3k/видео.html .
I installed a seperate fuse box at the rear plug and connected 12V socket, zumo power and fog lamps (LED) to it. Each of it is attached to a 2A fuse, thats enough for them.
I hope i was able to help you a bit.
Cheers, Ryker
nice vid ... iceman
well done! Thank you! are those 2 inch risers ?????
Thank you. Do you mean at the handle bar? It's the stock setup, changed no parts there (yet).
What kind of hand guards are those? Thanks for the video.
Hi Dan, those are the stock hand guards. I added the Hepco & Becker hand guard guards (Item # 4212994 00 01).
Hand guard guards :D lol
what engine guards are those?
Hi Cory, those are the Hepco & Becker engine guards for the none dct version. The guard at the clutch side looks a little bit different for the dct version (but pretty similiar).
That's what I thought but from he angle I wasn't sure, it looked a little dif so I wanted to make sure. Thanks
+Cory Redditt Personally i like the H&B stuff most. Friends and me made too much bad experiences with SW-Motech in the past. And Touratech isn't able to deliver (at least here in Germany)... ;)
+Moto-Ryker the givi ones look cool and I think they ship to Germany. I had an unfortunate experience with h&b where the engine guard pierced the frame when it hit the ground on my old bike resulting in the insurance company totaling the bike. have you seen the stuff www.boano.com offers the carbon engine guard looks amazing
watched this 10 times, cannot get the panel to separate no matter what I do
which part exactly do you mean?
the side panel, the 2nd part you removed, the big panel with the Africa Twin sticker on it. I cannot get it to separate up by the top of the tank, I don't want to just pull hard and risk breaking something
Ah ok, now i got it, sorry. Pull at the panel in the same order as shown in the video. The 1st and 2nd spigot will be easy the pull out of the rubber bushing. The 3rd and 4th one (right behind the red Honda Logo) are pretty tight - but don't worry, just pull, even if you will hear an evil and frightening sound.... ;) The first time removing it does sound horrible, but nothing will break. Put some grease at the spigots or rubber bushing, than it will be able to remove later as simple as shown in the film.
Don't act brutal, just pull it straight away from the bike and it will work without damage. :)
thanks, I'll try again
How did it go?
Too many pieces. Don't fall down.
pain in an arse...
Wild One looking worse than it is... ;)
