I was a long time intel user. I never give a thought to amd because as a programmer for 12 years I know and faced the pros and cons of it. Intel still the best. But as soon as I find out Intel is investing heavily in tel aviv to provide technological help to Israel military I am changing my mind. Sorry Intel, No matter how good you are I will not give a single penny to stain my hand with blood. I am human after all and every actions of mine will have ripple effect. Want to see a beautiful world not a war torn apart apocalypse for future generation. AMD Ryzen it is from January 2024...
People really buy i9/ryzen 9 and rtx 4090 for 1080p gaming? 🤔 Plz show the 4k (the actual marketed resolution for this hardware) or at least 1440p comparisons as well.

The 14900k is so bad that even with my 50% employee discount, I wouldn't buy it lol. Was going to originally since It would be just about free after selling my 12900k but IDK how they dropped the ball this hard. Might just go 13900k or keep my 12900k.
I have been researching a move to AMD and in all honesty I will be waiting for the 8000 series to take the jump. All though it seems very dire for the 14900K, there are aspects you aren't seeing. For example before running games you need to use Xbox Game bar to choose the correct CCD. Its not an not automatic thing. Some times for whatever reason the X-Box game bar will default to the non 3D V-cache CCD and your performance goes out the window, On top of that the memory controller is very weak on the 7950X3D so you might purchase DDR 6000 and wind up using it at stock speed of 4800 specially if you try to run four sticks, this is even using Expo with QVL approved ram. And finally the 7950X3D isn't really overclock friendly, so forget that. What this video isn't showing you is that the 14900K still has head room to be overclocked and those few cases that the 7950X3D out games it will diminish with a nice overclock. But your electric bill will feel it. I am in a similar circumstance, I have a 12900K running at 5.4Ghz P-Cores and 4.2Ghz on E-Cores, its very gifted processor considering I am running 4 sticks on gear one at DDR4 4000Mhz@ 16-16-16-36. So I can't make up my mind if to go with a 14900K. If in the near future "APO" is taken in by most of the game developers I might just stick with the 14900K.

Hey this is not a full potential of the intel 14th gen. You have to enable the intel application optimization feature to double fps. This features has only in 14th gen cpus
@@iequalsnoob lol twice the wattage to get less performance on multicore. They only can keep up with amd in single core desktop at cost of much more wattage. Basically competing only in gaming area. Deluded much. Funny that intel with their name is losing market share to amd year by year. Amd is cheaper and better performance and the much better wattage makes it cost effective long term.

@@justanobody4983 Ummm...6000cl30 is cheaper than the top end RAM that intel can use, so no, ram is not cheaper on intel. Also, you can cool amd with a cheap air cooler.
at 4K there is less then 2% difference between a 13700k,13900k, 14600k,14700k,14900k, 7800x3d, 7950x3d, 7950x, 7700x in most games. It does not matter what you throw in the mainboard, the GPU is all that maters.

just go 13900k... mine on basically stock clocks is pulling better numbers in r23 compared to a stock 14900k... uses less power as well.
