The return of a legend was never more disrespected with the bull the writers had in the "new" Dallas series. They must have only watched the original season 10 and NO OTHER SEASON at all if they want Cliff to be the ultimate "bad guy"
Anyone who thinks Cliff is all bad and the worst, you have never seen Dallas. And that includes the crappy ass writers of the "new" Dallas show. What a waste of the best show of all time.

I was very surprised that the writers of the reboot took the Cliff character that way... in the original series, he was bitter and obsessed but also was basically a decent guy -- in the reboot, he became cold blooded to the point of bombing his own daughter and making her lose her babies. I never actually watched the reboot but have watched clips here on RUclips -- very disappointing -- I'm surprised Ken Kercheval went along with it. Maybe he just wanted to bring his involvement to a close...

Fue una idea genial unir gran parte el elenco de Dallas original, fue mi serie favorita y lo sigue siendo. Lamento la muerte de Larry Hagman ojala que el escritor pueda acomodar esta triste realidad en la segunda temporada (ya filmandose) Para que no se afecte la trama y la serie pueda continuar. Fue un excelente actor, Patrick Duffy te amo desde que eras el hombre de la Atlantida. Mucho exito a productores, escritores y el super extraordinario elenco de Dallas.

I disagree I think they killed the character of “Cliff Barnes” the way they brought him back. It was interesting but nothing like the character he created by appearing in every episode of the original series.
