    I don't like extreme fuselage stretchings: the plane looses something in terms of safety and strenght. Better restart production of A380 and improve the development of zeroE aircrafts.

    Interestingly, no airline is really interested (yet) with the A350-2000. Reason: the A350-1000 is just the right plane for many airlines, especially regarding compatibility with current airport infrastructure.

    It will weigh more, means stronger undercarriage and higher wing loading or a bigger wing. Stretches are not always simple plus might need a more powerful engines.

    Wow ! I've been love to see AIRBUS A350-2000 xwb/ulr for the future. Even Garuda Indonesia will ordering/adding more AIRBUS plane over BOEING including AIRBUS A350-2000 xwb/ulr for the future, this could be over it's BOEING 777 for the International route and also Umroh/Hajj route for the future. That think it's very cool doesn't it 😉👍😉.

      If they order a350 2000 It will be all over for my favourite, strong,reliable plane,the 777.the truth is,garuda knows whats good, and that is the 777.

    Airbus is still monitoring the ultra large widebody segment. The B777-9 is not yet eating up the A350-1000 orders. The A380 half failure is still haunting the management. The A350 is already profitable. The A380 never was and cost a lot. But the lessons learned from the A380 failure created the A350 success. So today the Airbus management has decided to keep the wait and see attitude....until the B777-9 shows a response with a potential ultra long A350.....

    The A 350-2000 is not top priority for Airbus but the development goes on under a lower level. But once the A 350-2000 coming. When??? I don't know. Greet from Zandvoort.

    Perhaps the Asian market could justify the 2000. But the engines are the issue. GE would definitely not provide an engine as it would compete with the 777X and Boeing and GE arre now seemingly sleeping together. The cost of upgrading the Trent is an ongoing business but this all takes time and one hell of a lot of money. So, its not as simple as taking a knife and inserting a new bit. But perhaps. Airbus are looking into it.

    It will obviously be called A350-1100 if they stretch it! Why are u saying 2000? Thats sloppy.. the other models were A350-800, 900 aand 1000, so a stretched 1000 would obviously be an A350-1100…

    Boeing are their own worst enemy, the majority of their issues that they are suffering from are self-inflicted.
    I would be very interested to see how each and every single member of the Boeing board of directors would fair in a Fit and Proper Person's test carried out by the FBI or some similar agency or authority.
