Just picked mine up Friday. It is beautiful in person. My local Gamestop was only allowed to sell 6 of these & they were sold out when I picked mine up.
I absolutely love this special edition Zelda themed console. Just before I bought it I paid for the "PowerA Joy-Con Comfort Grip for Nintendo Switch - Princess Zelda" and these new joycons just looks stunning when paired with it. The grip also pairs nicely when it is standing beside the dock with it's gold accents so as it stands with this grip you can get away with just using this Zelda white grip with the Zelda TotK Joycons just incase other people cannot get the Zelda TotK Pro Controller. My reasoning for choosing this PowerA grip is simply because the standard official black joycon grip just doesn't work for me and I am a bit of a perfectionist with trying to find accessories that match. Either way I absolutely love this OLED console and this will be my primary Switch to play in TV Mode only whilst I take the older LCD Switch with me on the go in Portable Mode. For Storage I would strongly go for either a 512GB MicroSD Card or if people can afford it buy a 1TB MicroSD Card for futureproofing and I would invest in a Tempered Glass screen protector kit as well. But never the less I am so enjoying watching unboxings from other RUclipsrs as to see their reactions/unboxings and ironically for me I was completely hesitant and nervous to unbox it but I am so glad that I did. This is the best investment I have ever made in my life and as a Zelda fan it was so well worth the £320.

I bought it but I think I'm going to return it; it don't need it. I still have my animal crossing switch. I might wait until nintendo released an actually updated model with more powerful hardware. The OLED model is really not worth even if you have the V1 switch. Aside from the OLED screen it is still the same performance/power. This isn't really an upgrade but more of just a revision, similar to that of the V2 switch.
It would be quite a bump in battery life and once you have that screen it’ll be hard to go back lol. That said - I’m actually still maining my ACNH Switch despite having multiple OLEDs so I feel that

I picked up my zelda oled preorder yesterday and I just love everything about it. The design is very pretty. I was due for an upgrade from my switch lite. And I'm a long time zelda fan. So that oled couldn't be more perfect for me.
Do you think they should release a Nintendo switch ola with the new Zelda game inside of there and some other stuff what do you think just curious Nintendo would be better off doing that
Personally I do miss the days when they released limited edition consoles with the games included (all my other zelda consoles were like this) but considering how long data transfer took me I'm quite happy to have had the new console in advance of the game release to get it all set up. And I really wanted a physical copy of the game so I would've owned it twice if they included it with the console (it would've more than likely been a digital version). All that ofc is just my personal opinion. I don't have the data to make an actual informed business development insight on which would truly be better for their sales

Yes in North America we got the special edition. Possibly for legal reasons as the system doesn’t include the game so the game logo could be misleading. Thus also being very clear about the box not including the game.

That’s what I was thinking too I think they can drift even if they’re new 😭 Gullikit makes JoyCon replacement sticks with halo effect sensors that should be drift resistant though. Just have to install em lol

I pre-ordered mine from Best Buy. I think Amazon and Target did pre-orders as well, not sure who all still has it in stock
