I'll still say that the Reacher/Dixon dynamic is casual. Friends who are attracted to one another and are up for expressing it physically without romantic commitment. Reacher isn't into romantic attachments but he still enjoys sex and while not a horndog, will take it when offered or when it's in his face. Dixon seems mature enough and knows Reacher well enough not to think about going out to look at rings together.
I love this episode, O'Donnell talking about his wife and kids was so wholesome. It was great to see Finley back, and the fight scene at the end was pretty awesome!
Trust me,I was fond of Roscoe. Her personality (in the show) was the best of all he has been with. And note how I said that. This guy gives James Bond and Captain Kirk a run for their money. Season 3 has already started filming and I guarantee you that there is another "love interest" in it.
I am sure it's already been said, but in every book he is in a different town, with a different woman. If a woman is in more than one book, she is usually in the second book just long enough for the inevitable breakup as he leaves town. I think there is only one woman who is there for two full books.

Initially i didnt want swan to be dirty. But hearing how much crap reacher gave the others for even SUGGESTING the idea made me hope he was. Reacher didnt keep in touch with any of them, didnt know one was dead, didnt know the others had families and hadnt seen or heard from them in years. So to suggest that theres absolutely no way he could have changed in that time is ridiculous. Id want to assume my friend was innocent too, but to not even accept that its a possibility is just plain stupid.
In the first episode, Reacher says he's been gone from Margrave for 2 years, 7 months, and 19 days. To be that precise, I think he's had Roscoe on his mind.
The stab to the neck wasn't the smartest way to kill the doctor. Blood under pressure in a main artery can spray pretty dramatically. It would've covered the guy's hand and sleeve at the least as he stabbed and then pulled the blade out... leaving a lot of blood on his person to have to clean and not be seen with on his clothing. Plus it's a big ask assuming the doctor wasn't going to struggle or flail, making the bleeding out worse for the bad guy's clothing. The artery/windpipe combo would be more of a slash than a stab, since you're gambling a lot on perfect angle of incision to pierce both where a slash forward would sever both more effectively. As soon as I saw Finnley when I watched the episode, I knew you'd get jazzed. lol

The books this series is based on don't actually follow on. Reacher is a drifter in a different town with different characters each book so they can be read in any order. I'm assuming that will be the same for each season so the best advice I can give is don't get attached to any romantic scenes because he will likely be with someone new every season. So if you are already hating him with Dixon, I don't think you will like future seasons because I can't see Roscoe ever coming back.
There was only one thing disappointing about this reaction. I watch a lot of them and you are the only person I have seen that caught the fact that it was in Boston and the friend could possibly be Finlay. Was hoping to see you caught completely off guard. 😂😂
Most people had forgotten Finley went back to Boston, I figured it out only just before his appearance as I saw a random comment about a surprise in episode 4 and it suddenly clicked for me they were in Boston and then when he said "if he was in the army...." I knew
Hey, as a natural shipper myself, I totally get it. We'll take our OTPs to our graves, and that's as it should be. I think there's a possibility for Roscoe in future seasons, when Reacher travels south again. Long may this series continue, because if they continue following the books, we'll get lots of awesome different locations and feels. Like, Reacher in the Florida Everglades... Reacher in New Orleans, Reacher in the desert in Texas or Arizona, in the Rockies, etc. That's the beauty of the series.

Hate to say it but Reacher season 1 is based on the 1st book and after the first book Roscoe Conklin never showed up in any of the books. Even though the other characters have some cameo appearances. But we know a tv series cannot be 100% based on the books. There is a hope that the directors may somehow bring back Roscoe. But just to be clear Roscoe never met Reacher after the 1st book and I think that's for a good reason.
