Hi icuk7, I am using Avermedia LGP2 capture card and accompanying software, ReCentral which selects an optimal setting based on your computer's specs and the input type. I hadn't touched any of the default settings. Looking at the video files I know my average data rate is around 20 mbps. Container is mp4 and x264 encoding is used. Initial D Zero runs on SEGA Nu2 system, and the output is 1920x1080, 60fps. However, many factors contribute to video quality. For one, I noticed that you are playing Arcade Stage 8 which natively outputs 1360x768 resolution, which is nearly half the amount of pixels, resulting in more blur. Secondly, I too suffers from the same issues as you on Irohazaka(Example video: ruclips.net/video/IOQNjW-LQlU/видео.html ), unfortunately there is no easy fix for this, as videos had to be encoded a second time once it is uploaded to youtube, and generally most of the encoding settings you can use (that doesn't heavily impact your computer's performance) and youtube's encoding doesn't play well with large amounts of patterns moving at a fast speed without any motion blur. Here are the list of things you can do: 1. Add motion blur using editing software like after effects. (render time intensive) Example video: ruclips.net/video/NApTmyYAhL0/видео.html This method makes the scene blurry and encoders tend to do a much easier job trying to encode blurry stuff. 2. Select "Night" in-game. The game's color design is more bland and less colorful at night, which will help encoding quite a bit. 3. I strongly don't recommend this, but you can try playing in 3rd person mode. The car in the video acts as a stationary object which aids compression with encoders. However this affects gameplay too much so you might not want to do that. Other RUclips videos of IRO are bad as well, but yours always seem to be much better. The image quality of your videos is really nice. I can tell you take care with editing and other stuff. I've tried uploading raw capture files and the result is still the same. I even tried upscaling the feed to 1080p during capturing and also during encoding, this produced massive file sizes which I uploaded to youtube, results were still the same lol. I never thought about driving at night and using blur effects during encoding, thanks for those suggestions, I'll try those when I setup ID8 again. I'm devoting to SpikeOut recently which has put playing iD8 on the backburner. :-) Another thing I didn't try was to capture/encode at 30fps, but I prefer 60fps as it looks smoother. Recently I bought 2 capture cards as an upgrade and they can capture 2 feeds at the same time in a single PC, Magewell HD Pro capture HDMI. So I'll try using one of those in my encoding PC. The capture card I mostly use is a Blackmagic Intensity Pro which doesn't sync with the signal from Ringedge, so I have to use another device to change the signal to a 720p signal the BMIP can see. As you know using other devices gradually reduces the image quality. I use OBS to save the movie files then edit and encode projects using Vegas. Thanks again man. :-)
