I don't usually liie ASMR but I've watched this video so many times. I think the difference is that this is on a real person- I hate that fake sound of someone scratching a mic or wig

Same. I also don't like the ones where they do deliberate stuff to the camera, acting like the viewer is the one getting hair brushed or whatever. Alot of the intentional asmr just seems too put on to me. This channel is the only intentional asmr that triggers me. I much prefer unintentional without a lot of talking or loud background noises.

I used to make things up in my hair just to have my mother look for imaginary bug bites and stuff
In elementary school they had the nurse do Lice Checks twice a year, and some times I would go in a third time and tell her my head was itchy so she’d check my hair for Lice lol.
I appreciate the attempt to simulate scalp checks. I'd like to see more videos like this on RUclips. Our school nurse pushed the pointy end of the wooden chopstick across the scalp and separated the hair that way. I haven't seen any video get it right yet. (on a side note: my hair was buzzed short once, and when the lice check came to my class, the nurse just thumbed through my hair without using the chopsticks. :( I was crushed.)

our nurse searched our scalps traditional way, with just her hands...it wasn't ever very long either, probably because lice are such a rare occurrence nowadays...

Same here! While in school, when the nurse walked in and the teacher said she was going to check for lice, I'd have to contain my excitement. It was always sooo relaxing. (Plus always came out clean. Lol)
Lice checks were always painful for me... Probably because I have a ton of hair. My mom would make me bend my neck a certain way for a long time and since my hair is thick and gets tangled easily, she always ended up pulling. It doesn't help that I'm tender headed. But I did love when she played with my hair. Now that I'm a teenager, she's really busy and she hardly spends time like that with me anymore...
How Lovely is Thy Rose Have you told her you miss it? I can't speak for all moms but I know no matter how tired I am, when my daughter wants head and back "scratchies", I am happy to do so because that time together is so precious. I hope you get some mama time with the added bonus of hair play too, soon! :)

I love when people play with my hair or like just kinda feel/ stroke my face like the doctor does, so relaxing, I love the lice exam before I'm allowed into camp (everyone gets it) even though it's only a minute it's nice :)
This would've been so much better if you would've put oil on his scalp. His scalp looked red and dry. Oil would've been a great treatment for him.
I thought this too. The back is really red. The addition of oil would have made a really nice trigger sound too. Please do another one with oil!

I didn't see it but it was definitely heard. So loud it interrupted the asmr sounds
I usually end up watching along with these videos for awhile, and one of the things I always like to see is the procedure being actually done, not just sounds or it being faked. Nothing breaks that immersion more than seeing them have something like the tweezers or hair shears in haircutting vids, and then just click it next to their hair instead of actually doing something with it. Granted theres not lice or something to actually get in this one, but even just passing them through his hair a bit, or maybe lightly scratch his scalp with them or something.
This is not a bad video or anything like that, but its something I notice in a lot of ASMR videos like this that I really wish they would do less of.
Please do an updated one of these n use tools ur so talented in the asmr stuff...

Love your work - just a tip from an ASMR devotee of many moons - it's all about precision, and when you have really elegant hands (as you do!) it's a shame to cover them up in baggy imprecise gloves. What you need is the snappy latex type. Skintight fingerwear... oh yeah. ;)
And a long-tailed comb... could use pointy end as super-precise stylus for parting the hair and tracing along the scalp.
I totally agree as a kid i thought that tingles were from watching people concentrate on something (my dad builds models ships) but it was just the surgical precision.

Agree with both of you - the total focus/concentration goes hand in hand with the precision. For me I always enjoy ASMR videos that aren't manufactured or intended to be triggers more than the staged ones - videos where it's just an incidental or accidental consequence of the person doing something requiring really dextrous manual skill and precision - they're hard to find, though! I don't like voices especially not in staged videos, and I don't know if you guys agree, but there's a particular type of really stylised 'whispering' roleplay video that seem more tailored for guys looking for half-baked soft porn. Not my thing at all! The sounds I want to hear are the tiny little details of each movement or implement, not someone consciously trying to act and definitely not the whole rough tap-my-fingernails-all-over-this-random-surface thing. Like that works for anyone?!
Think my dream ASMR video would be someone carefully dismantling a really intricate, antique timepiece to clean every piece slowly, methodically and silently, with a variety of increasingly fiddly, precise little brushes and instruments... like magnifiers or a baby torch. Lots of different textured tools. Really elegant hands are a big aesthetic bonus, but the main thing is totally intense precision, gentleness and care, nothing fast or noisy or jerky - you want to just be able to revel in the detail of each precise movement, texture and tiniest of sounds. All about the detail in my humble opinion!

I love the precision and quiet instead of the started whispers. the triggers are better when the person is fully involved in the task. that's why I love these guys especially the girl. they are the closest thing to my ideal ASMR artists on the internet right now.

I agree, I love that imaginative people like them exist. Precision and delicacy... think that was the word I was looking for before. Delicacy. It's nice to see two people involved, but I think sometimes it can be even better if it's simplified - one person working on something inanimate against a plain backdrop so you just see their hands and the object. I can get a bit distracted by the interplay between two people but it makes a nice change and it's certainly a cut above most of the simpering, whispery roleplay nonsense on youtube. ;)

What he meant to say was probably for college or high sch because you have to take finals. kinda like in middle school and elementary you have to take the big tests at the end of the year. in Florida they are called FSA or FCAT. But in high school and college it is finals. Hope I helped😄
