Big Dog Ranch Rescue is on a critical mission in the face of a dire situation unfolding at Colony Ridge, Texas. Hundreds of dogs, are trapped in a border nightmare, facing conditions that no animal should ever endure. To bring their plight into the light, we've captured their struggles in our BORDER NIGHTMARE video, providing an inside look at the crisis these dogs are facing.

We've already made strides by purchasing a 16x24 shed for independent rescuer, Zully Valsquez, featured prominently in our video. However, our work is far from over. We urgently need to outfit this shed with necessary insulation, flooring, electrical wiring, plumbing, air conditioning, and kennels. These modifications are crucial to transforming these spaces into climate-controlled shelter, offering a safe refuge for mothers and their puppies until they can be safely rescued.
Moreover, we're extending our support to Rosa, another independent rescuer showcased in the video. Her shelter is only halfway to completion. Your generous donations will not only help finish Rosa's shelter but also fund rescue missions into Texas. These missions are vital for providing shelter, medical care to these dogs and removing them from harm's way.
In an exciting collaboration, PAWS CHICAGO has joined us to launch a mass mobile spay-neuter program, addressing the root of the problem and preventing future generations of dogs from facing the same nightmare. Good shepherd rescue - we’ve adopted one from there and will only do rescues from now on . This situation and the recent rescue of 80 Golden retrievers in Va and just mistreated animals in general upsets me . Then we gave abandoned, abused & mistreated children ! Jesus HELP!!

I live in Colony Ridge and this 100% on Liberty County for not having animal control nor an Animal Shelter

I live less than 10 miles from this shit hole... yes, it is mainly caused by what crosses the border, but this also goes for any and every person who doesn't spay & neuter... trust me, I'm paying attention, I see the rescues work day and night to street feed these dumped animals, this is a world wide problem and there needs to be tougher laws and huge fines
@@marilyn77357 I also live near this government sponsored treasonous mess and, yes, it's the illegals living there causing this. Never has there been such a problem to the extent it is now. The illegals don't have the money to spay/neuter and even if they did (probably do because they're getting our tax money) they wouldn't spend it in being responsible dog owners.

Blame the damn Texas government. It is essential to develop strategies to control overpopulation such as providing education to owners about spaying -neutering and creating free sterilization programs for low-income families.
We also need harsher restrictions and laws towards breeders. Breeders should register and have a license that is renewed annually by a licensed inspector. The government needs to have more regulations regarding adopting dogs from private breeders. The government should force the breeders to report each litter and track litters to prevent over-breeding within related dogs to avoid the inevitable health conditions related to inbreeding. Female dogs should have a limit on how many litters they can have. the government needs to enforce laws that protect animals and do a better job of protecting the welfare of every animal from cruel conditions and illegal puppy mills. Taxpayer money should go to protect animal welfare. Many cities in Texas have
the high-killer shelter that killed healthy and adoptable animals.
Within three days of the dog being dropped off is killed at these shelters. Overpopulation of animals is not controlled by euthanizing them. Texas Mayor and city officials do not care about animal welfare. They support slaughtered shelters !
