my fav commander deck is B/U zombies. Sooo many cards from this set helped. I got a new Lord, Lillian's enchantment isn't horrible, pleague belcher is good and yeah I run As Fortold in a zombie deck...lol
Its ANOTHER color shifted parallel lives. it is amazing in G/W Token decks and those two cards with Doubling Season and Primal Vigor, whenever you put a token on the field, you put 16 tokens instead. Imagine having a bunch of tokens on the battlefield, then using Second Harvest or Rhys, the Redeemed second ability. I can see this combo easily pulled of in a enchantment token deck.
Great video. :D Hapatra is my newest and favourite Commander, so fun to have a stake on every section of the board having both venomous creatures and -1/-1 tokens spread around is incredibly enjoyable. There's no feeling like wiping out somones near infinite hoard of 1/1's with a single -1/-1 counter and a Blowfly Infestation. :D
blowfly infestation also goes infinite with nest of scarabs as long as you have a few 1/1s already. You put a -1/-1 counter on one of your snakes (assuming you have two), it dies, triggering hapatra and nest and blowfly. Put blowfly's trigger on the stack first targeting your 2nd snake, then hapatra/nest. Hapatra/nest resolves giving you a snake and insect, blowfly resolves adding a counter to your 2nd snake, it dies, and the loop begins. I just put together my own hapatra deck. Hi, long time fan here. So I am disappointed that you fell into the trap of thinking Champion of Rhonas is even close to being as good as Elvish Piper. I can prove that theory with several facts. 1st He has to attack in order to trigger his ability making him vulnerable to combat death. 2nd His ability can only can only trigger on your turn SEVERELY limiting his potential for both combat tricks and putting ETB effects on the stack. Everyone knows the value of being able to resolve an ability at instant speed. 3rd One green mana is a more reliable way to pay for an activation once per turn cycle in a vacuum. While there is potential new combos with this card that would cost at least one more card, the mana to cast it, and need to be drawn before hand making said combos more costly to replicate the same effect. All of this doesn't even take into account the well estabilshed combos to activate an elf's tap ability more than once per turn. 4th Being a 3/3 does male him hit harder and resist Shock effects. IF YOU ARE PAYING 4 MANA FOR A 3/3 BEATER IN ANY CONSTRUCTED FORMAT THEN YOU ARE DOING MAGIC WRONG. If he were a 3/4 he would at least survive Bolt effects but over all he still shares Piper's weakness to most removal with the added vulnerability of having to enter combat in order to trigger hia ability. Your opponent doesn't even need to have a card in hand. If the have 3/1 or better on the board they can limit you to one use. 5th He cannot benefit from elvish tribal synergies. Elvish tribal in a top tier deck in many formats and is no less relevant in Commander. If you can afford to you will get more wins by running Elvish piper, Quicksilver Amulet, Natural Order, YISAN, Birthing Pod, Oath of Druids, or even Dragon Arch. If cheating big creatres onto the field sounds like a deck that you'd like to build try Kaalia or any form of Reanimate. Champion of Rhonas is a bad joke.
Oracle's vault: There's no way this sticks around long enough. It'd absurd. I was curious what cards you'd pick here. Sadly you picked a reprint and none of the cycling cards. Why? The cycling cards are probably the ONLY ones you'd want to play (as you could discard them because they're so bad. Haha.). In all seriousness, cycling disenchant is obvious.
Well, to be fair mindcensor reprint dropped the price significantly so its much easier to want to pick one up for a deck... the reprint was stellar for stax/control decks if you're on a budget. i agree with you though. I feel the guy missed some major opportunities here to talk about the cycling lands that have the basic land type. Not to mention, I've won a few games by playing one of the ravnica bounce lands, bouncing a cycling land, cycling the land, and drawing gas. but its his top 10 list so, whatever. I think a whole slot could have been dedicated to the cycling mechanic or at least the cycling duals.

I'm with you on Nissa, she's crazy. Friends and I are doing Planeswalker EDH and I got her, and she's beem a force to be reckoned with.
Green seems to be a very powerful color in this block, especially for commander.

Kefnet is a good card, but it is good in a select few decks and generally doesnt make that much of an impact unlike those on the list.

champion of rhonas isnt better than elvish piper...the fact that it has to attack n stay tapped should be argument enough.
