If this is the best woman player in the world I am done with the WNBA untill they start dunking. Reduce the height of that net ladies. Then you will make way more money. We as men recognize and admit men and women are different without considering it a bad thing. It's only you women who judge yourselves. You aren't as tall or as fast so make rules and regulations designed for womens capabilities and physique. If not, your game will not grow as women aren't into sports enough to get you to a million a year. You'll have to rely on male viewers and we want more excitement. Lower the rim and start dunking and you will gain the monies you seek. I hope it all works out for you.

To counter that, I look at the history of men's NCAA, the NBA, and the ABA and how coaches, committees, and even fans thought too much dunking made the game boring and limited to the big man - no other skills were appreciated. Even today, calls to raise the NBA rim to at least 11.5 feet are still made. Don't get me wrong, I love watching players like LeBron, Giannis, or Griffin throw it down. It's exciting, for sure! But lowering the rims so more female pros can dunk would only be a temporary cure for a symptom. Sure, it would be more exciting, sell more tickets, and female pros would make more money. For a little while. But sooner or later, things would eventually go back to where they were because fans would get used to it, as humans do with all things. When the dunk was banned in the NCAA, viewership and basketball fandoms didn't suffer dramatically. People still went to and watched games. Muggsy was 5'3" and wasn't a dunker by any means, yet he was a major ticket-seller. In fact, he even complained that that was the only reason he was even in the NBA. Yes, dunking is exciting. But excitement mostly attracts temporary fans. Appreciation of the game and all its fundamentals attracts and keep generations of fans who learn, from a young age, to value the difficulty and beauty of a good zone defense, a behind the back pass, a pick and roll, or a give and go. The symptom is a monetary issue. The disease is a broader cultural issue where everything else that makes the game of basketball beautiful to watch is outweighed by lack of dunks when women play. I would love to see the day in which WNBA players didn't need to travel to Europe over the summer to play so they could pay rent back home. But temporarily appeasing modern fans would only partly solve the problem and for a little while. Excitement is just that: temporary. Appreciation creates loyal fans and is instilled at a very young age. This is a cultural issue that younger generations must be exposed to.
