So I’m an older Army. I remember the Beatles coming to America for the first time. I have never seen anything like this. Ever. They are more than performers, it’s their personalities and philosophy that no one will ever be able to recreate. I honestly like THEM better than their music. They’ve made me laugh like I haven’t in years and resurrected my love for music. They say you find them when you need them. I was in chronic pain for 6 years, miserable, taking pain meds, and they brought me joy. No more meds!

Honestly all of BTS's songs are great and like they said each album has its story line. When it comes to wings the album I recommend reacting to all of the wings short films. And then when you react to spring day I recommend watching the video that explains the MV, it's based off of a tragedy that happened in korea and its very meaningful

True for me. I had separated from my husband, history of alcoholism and abuse. Rather than talk about it, I just didn’t discuss it. One day I came across Idol. I was so drawn to the guys, especially Namjoon. I looked up and watched all his videos and mixtapes first. I than listened to the rest of the rap line. And before them I HATED rap/hip hop. And than I watch their videos. I started with the oldest and watched all the way through to the newest. When I heard Epiphany I lost it. I cried and realized I didn’t love myself any more. Because of this band I learned to speak myself and love myself. None in my family can understand why they are so important to me, even when I try to explain. They just don’t get it. But thank you Army for also being there!!!

I'm in the same boat about not knowing about BTS until very recently. Don't be mad, because BTS is happy to have you as fans no matter when you found them.
So they practice English and other languages for interviews so they can give replies in the language of the place they are in. They also practice short phrases for opening and ending comments that they use in their live concerts.
This is me giving you side-eye. :snort: We done told you, go to the beginning. That stuff you are "ready for"? Is the beginning. ARMY's don't lie to new fans.

Also One of their best live performances is their 2019 MMA award show performance. They had the stage for 30-40 minutes. It will really blow your mind. I still get goosebumps when I watch it.

27:40 the bts members have always said they will give their absolute all for every single performance because if they don't, they feel like they're cheating us by half-assing it when they think every single person deserves to have the absolute best time possible enjoying the performances. it's admirable because while some artists just say that, not many really stick to it like they do. bts really are one of a kind and i'm not just saying it to be a sappy fan haha.
I remember what Namjoon said that they know how much Army's sacrifice to get/watch to their concert/performance.

- Listening to BTS early discography is a MUST. - You’ll be missing out on a lot of of their hip hop roots and social messages if you don’t go through their early catalogue of songs/albums. BTS is Humble! They don't expect those things to happen. They want to be loved by Army and respected. They are so loved when their birthday comes around Army goes all out from train stations to a subway car decorated for them and trees planted. If you start to get teary blame RM and him cutting onions. When they cook RM is usually chopping onions. When I cry I blame him all the time.

i feel allen so much! my hugs to you! 😭💜 yeah, they always get touched still when people sing to them back especially in korean... they're always so humble, grateful, and determined to give back. they always say how much they want to do great for every single performance because they might be exhausted sometimes doing the dances and songs over and over again despite their wide range of discography but they understand fully well that in every live stage, there must be armys out there seeing them for the first time. they really get down when they feel they didn't do well, let's say when they're sick. these guys are so genuine and kind. and they're just beautiful to support.

There is a lot of mutual love between ARMY and BTS. Back when Big Hit was still a struggling agency ARMYs used to send the boys gifts like dishes and clothes because they couldn't afford much. They actually still have those dishes in their dorm last we saw and we've also spotted them wearing old fan gifts.

Idk why people are getting snippy about you pausing. It's a reaction video. It drives me nuts when reactors just sit there and like dance along or inject a little sound from time to time. I like when reactors pause to add relevant thoughts and I feel you guys pause and interject just the right amount- not too much and not too little. Keep up the good work!

First, I am really enjoying this journey with you. Thank you for all the little joys you contribute to my life.
Second, I wanted to thank you for working hard to help people at the hospital in these hard times. As much as your parents are worried for your well being, they must be very proud. Just wanted to show my appreciation for the things you do outside this box.
Third, as you are both finding out more and more, the world of BTS is vast and global so things could get pretty overwhelming and the ARMY tend to get overzealous when we meet wonderful genuine Baby ARMY like you guys. As you know there are all sorts of people in this world we share as a planet, BTS fans are globally massive so you would naturally encounter them. There will be some you would consider judgemental and unethical but please understand that the ARMY in general are wonderful, kind and supportive who do a lot of great work and charity in the name of BTS to help others as well. Beyond their talents, BTS has helped and touched many of us in a personal way and BTS themselves have been going through so many hardships and discriminations getting to where they are today and still do, that we, the ARMY are very protective of them. As you realized, we are very dedicated to our boys and we stand as one like a symbiotic relationship. Thus, I am hoping you would not be put off by the few negatives eventhough it will seem a lot because we are global. You both have great set of heads on your shoulders, handsome too, so you may already understand this but I thought I should mention anyway because I like you guys and would love to see you both bloom into a full genuine ARMY. Hope you continue to love BTS for who they are and their great music and productions. Thanks for reading my long comment and look forward to continuing the BTS journey with you guys.💜
I’ve seen people say this a lot. I found BTS’ music at a pretty low point in my life, when I was aimless and directionless. You find them at the right point in your life, not any sooner and not any later. 💜

This is a bit of an overestimation. They don't really speak Chinese. Just some basic introductory stuff for their Chinese fans. They probably speak about as much Chinese as they do English (although I do think their English is improving a lot!).
Ms L oh really? I read somewhere that Hobi spoke Chinese pretty well and that RM was learning it but it might have been wrong idk
I think out of everyone RM can speak passable Japanese rest just follow script as for Chinese that’s also scripted dialogue mostly like English

11:39 I don't know if you're aware by now because this reaction is a month old, but Americans and fans all over the world are learning to speak Korean because of BTS. In response to that BTS won an award for Order of Cultural Merit from the South Korean Government. BTS has spread South Korean Culture and Language around the world. At concerts, in the streets and uploaded videos non Koreans sing the lyrics like its breathing. I am one of those people. I wish I went to a concert though. I was ready this year. 2020 kicked us in the stomach!
