It’s not only they give the gifts it’s that you can’t trust the ‘influencers’ opinions because of course they want to get invited for the next trip. Not only the gifts but the trip itself.

You should consider creating a drawer or box for the sentimental stuff that’s expired but not going anywhere so it isn’t cluttering up your active collection.
I absolutely love clean out and organizing videos.
I didn’t mind the brand trips, I loved watching everyone get together and have a good time showing off all the new products. I understand where some people are coming from but at the same time, majority of these influencers deserve it!
It’s so crazy how last year I was watching these with my mom when she was still alive. I had watched your video on your mom passing away and I remember thinking “God idk what I’d ever do without my mom” My mom really loved watching your cleaning videos with me.

My mama passed in 09.
I so wish I could just hug her again.
I remember holding her in ICU finally without all the ventilator & cord stuff and just watching my tears drip onto her tired cheeks while thinking wake up mama please don't go. But I knew she was in a better place for once in her life. That gave me alot of peace.
I cried everyday for like a year though.
She struggled with heroin addiction & prostitution my whole life but to me she was the most beautiful woman.
Her worth was more than she knew.
Rest In Paradise to all our loved ones.

So proud of you girl! Why is it that I seem to be drawn to your declutters? I love to see what you have. I'm with you. I want to say yes and no more in my life. And you are right about motivation, you have to START and then be motivated. I've found that to be so true. When I actually start something and see how much I've done, I am motivated to continue. The way to start I've always heard is to say, I'll just do this for ten minutes then i'll stop. Most of the time, you want to keep going. And DON'T BEAT YOURSELF UP!

The Tarte brand trips got way too ridiculous in terms of the gifts for sure. I know that influencers are a HUGE part of selling product. There has to be a balance between everything though, which they weren’t doing well on.

I’ve seen everyone do massive declutters and I know it’s for the new year and room for new makeup. It’s refreshing to see what is actually kept and how many people keep quality , not quantity and new PR automatically is either kept or not. It’s refreshing for influencers not keep everything, although very wasteful but good that most of the stuff goes to women groups and facilities.😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍

I think it’s a balance with brand trips. They are good because they sale products but it’s also kind of like if you spent less and sent out a little less PR then maybe the product wouldn’t be as high. That’s one thing I love about Laura Lee and Lunar beauty you do so much of your own promoting to offer us better deals at an amazing quality!
So much of that makeup is such like good quality brands it’s unreal!

You should do like a beauty wall display thing with all your nostalgic makeup. Because you're not using the stuff and only remember them when you do clear outs so why not have a display that you can see often and enjoy looking at ❤❤

You could take out/depot certain shades you love and put them in your empty palette so then you can keep your favorite shades but not the whole palette!
