Great vlog Mark and congrats to Rory for some great golf he played some great iron shots which is why he should be a seven handicap! When he was stood on the drain cover though, he should have had free relief which is nearest point plus one club length so could have got himself a drop out of the thick stuff

interesting little section there on taking a drop and the nearest point. would love it if you could do a little video demonstration explaining that in a bit more details as it can be sometimes confusing and I have a lot of cheaters in my group of mates :)

Having determined the nearest point of relief, couldn't Rory have then taken a club length, not nearer the hole, from there? I think so.

How do you guys take nice divots out of the ground? is it really soft? my course grass is relatively hard and you cant really take a divot out of the ground without chunking it.
