I worked with agroforestry systems for yrs, but it was all with a focus on developing countries/the tropics. Here in Norway many farmers have free roaming sheep, cows and sometimes goats, and the Sami have vaste tracts in the mountains/tundra where they herd their reindeer. Few to none use the term *_silvipastoral systems_* for this ancient form of husbandry (we have 1000s yo laws that allows this). So a big kudos for educating the YT crowd about it.

I could have used the tuff cut the other days mowing my yard as grass was waist high. Got it done with my toro riding, a push mower and a whipper snipper, but took me quite a few hours. Looks good.

We ran a Ventrac 4500 with the 31hp Gas Kawasaki at the golf course I worked at, the only thing that could stop it was operator error.
I wish they could've had the Kubota D902 with a turbo.

All those areas should be pasture. All the farms that used to be in my area would just put the cattle in those areas. Not many small farms left now.

Not what I expected to hear. I can see where the Ventrac is a really versatile and useful machine though especially on hillsides.
That’s 2 years of not mowing? That looks like a 2 week growth in Florida if it rains a lot.
You keep using disposable ear plugs. Have you looked at a product like ISO tunes or musician earplugs?
yep...ISO tunes fell apart and were ridiculously flimsy.....I have 3M worktunes...but who wants a headset on their head in 90 degree weather. Foamy earplugs have proven the best for me.....plus...if you're listening to music while running machineryyou're risking it all!
