Sounds amazing !
Just found your video!
Borla and Corsa both sell axlebaxk Exhausts that support NPP valves and that won't void your warranty!!
You have the borla atak, borla sport, and corsa extreme. Personally, seeing as you like your cars straight piped loud, I'd recommend the corsa extreme for your car! And later down the road, you can get there x pipe and it will remove the back cats and keep the front ones(yes I know your back cats are already moved. Just stating that they move them if they were there;) and it's superrr loud. It'sjusta6 put the corsa extreme exhaust on his zl1 and it's loudddd but it still supports NPP! Sweet ride! Got my 2ss 2 weeks ago!
Thanks bro!
Borla Atak exhaust npp is what I have. I also pulled my NPP fuse because after 5 gear they auto close unless they changed that for 22.
also pull the fuse off the npp
Wonder how it would sound if u put on the axle back mbrp exhaust tips🤔
Probably still good i just like to keep the stock npp muffler and what not so I can still have active exhaust and it still pop on downshifts
Hey great video.
Did you feel you lose some cracks and pops when installing a after market intake?
No sir!
In my old 2ss I was FBO with straight pipe and it still popped like crazy
@@Ghostzl12022 ahhh ok okay nice!! Was the muffler fully deleted?
There are no secondary catts. All cars have one or two, and in this case not 4. They are resonators.
Is there a break-in mileage recommendation with the Camaro?
Yes unfortunately one that I did not know about until now. The break in is 1500 miles
@@Ghostzl12022 got it. I have one on order and was curious. My BMW was a 1200 mile break in with an oil change when I bought it new a few years back. Congrats on the car though man, the 1LE is definitely a beast.
What size pipe did they use to replace your secondary cats??
2”
The muffler shops here in virginia are iffy with taking off my secondary cats for my ss :(
Some are. Make someone do it😂
If I get a muffler delete will the pops on my camaro go away? It’s a 2022 camaro lt1 v8
No sir! The pops stay there unless you cut the flat part of the pipes out from what I’ve noticed. But regardless I’ve went straight pipe before as well on my old car with headers still popped like crazy
@@Ghostzl12022 what is a flat part of the pipe
@@Ghostzl12022 so do u think I should get it cuz now I’m worried 🥲
@@Ghostzl12022 I don’t think I have a flat pipe if I do where is it?
@@markisvibin3199 no worry. Youll have even more pop if you cut the muffler/ cats and everything out the poping just gets louder. When your car is on the rack or your under it. You should see a spot in the exhaust where the pipes are flattened
My stock Camaro 2ss doesn’t sound like that stock?🧐
This is secondary cat delete
Any check engine ?
No engine light!
I just got a 22 camaro ss and I’m wondering how a resonator delete would sound?
Not much change
Do you have an active exhaust?
@@evanavalos3097 yes
How does it sound on tour mode or stealth mode when it’s quiet
@@evanavalos3097 it’s very very quiet literally almost silent !!
Does this void the warranty?
Yes
Maybe cut outs.
If only he was smart. If only he had the manual transmission.
He got a ss 1le you got a plain lt1 lol
@@Ab-re7pv probably same as fast if anything lt1 beats it because of all those weight reductions
should've bought a manual 1le, too many pops
And it’s a guarantee the car doesn’t run better because u changed back pressure w/o a new tune
I get tuned for everything
It will run lean Warranty in jeopardy
Wrong. Try again. Cutting the secondary cats will not cause it to run lean. The Camaros run very rich as they are, hence the extreme popping. Clearly you don’t own a Camaro.
Can you pass smog with deleting secondary cats? I'm in Cali
Probably not I would say get high flow cats
@@Ghostzl12022 did you pass thought? Or you guys don't need them in your state?
@@johnnyboi6342 we don’t have any of that lol
