Hey, welcome back. Sorry to hear about the health problems; mine aren't as serious, just a bad back. That saw is a great addition to your shop. Can't wait till the saw dust flies. Well, I know you'll have to watch the dust but we always say "making chips" on the machine trades videos so it's just an encouragement to see the work start. Thanks for the video and I'll be watching, Greg.

Thanks to this video, I am in proces of buying Kölle k45 table saw. After watching this, I knew what saw I need, but Martins are so rare here, so when I found k45 I knew that is the way 😁
Hope your health is fine, thank you for your videos 😊

Looks like a super nice saw! I boughta big Tannewitz once but the seller flaked on me and wouldn't sell it in the end. Maybe someday I will find one I want and can afford.

They are out there. I run into plenty of them, although not as often as I used to. I have a Whitney No. 77, but it's not a slider. Wish it was.....

Thanks, Scott. It's just something that has to be endured. I just purchased a 3M PAPR filter, so I should be ok.

Nice Machine. I make a living with a 1970 Martin T70 Format style saw. A lot parts and details are similar to mine. You can get any, ANY, replacement part for this saw from Martin. Just tell them the Number of the Machine (stamped somewhere on the table) and they pull out their file of exact this machine and send you what you need. And please get a riving knive. Please! This beast can kill you easily with that motor. Nobody withstands anything that goes flying from her. This is NOT a flimsy cabinet saw.

Thanks, Hermann. I would definitely like to get the riving knife if it's available. I was contemplating just making one, but if they have it available, that would be good. Thanks for your safety concerns. Not my first rodeo with a table saw. ;) I'll be safe.

Hi Jeff and thanks for good info and tour oof ur shop. Is that motor heist for lifting your heavy tools on and of trucks, or how u do it if i may ask? Btw how much did u sell that saw and how heavy it is?

Nice machine Jeff! I purchased a Martin T75 from 1976, I heard something about maintanance guide you obtained. Do you still have them? I would like to restore my machine and those maintanance guides could help me with that! Kind Regard Gert-Jan

I have a copy of the manual, and there's some information in there specific to a T17. If you think it'll help with your T75, give me your email address, and I will email you a copy. You might check VintageMachinery.org, as the manuals might be posted there, as well. Not sure.
