nice Jeff! love your reviews!! you're pretty much the reason im getting a 4Runner this year! Do you know if the 4Runner limited offers a rear or center locking diff?

It's a pity that Lexus didnt give its Australian/American customers the same as they did their Japanese customers, that is Front/Rear/ Centre diff locks. The Centre diff lock is only good up until the point where you either lift one front and one rear tyre OR end up with barely any contact under one wheel on the front and one wheel on the back at which point your fancy LX will just sit there with two wheels spinning, that is one on the front and one on. the rear and of course, in that case you are going Nowhere .......fast 😂

I think this car and lc300 are ot AWD، they are 4WD by tapping tis buttn that you say C difflocker the car will run into 4H gear and you can switch into 4L.

If you buy a LX600 and use it as a overlander you are a pimp.

Hi Jeff, one question: when you have the center diff on, how much turning can you safely do? I've been told you're supposed to avoid turning wheels when you have any diff locked.

This only applies to a locked Rear or Front Differential. Not center

4L will not work on slippery situation cuz will generate high torque. You can’t use high torque on a slippery situations. 4L is only for solid and firm surfaces.

The capability of this vehicle is totally lost on most people who will own it. Get the GX and go play!
