      @@chetjablonski1993 It’s one season. They waived his contract. If Diggs is an issue, he’ll be with another team next year if he likes. He’s basically playing like it’s a contract year. He wants more money? Work with the system.
      Either way defenders have to spread out to cover Collin’s, Diggs, Dell, Shaultz, and Mixon.

    Mark is correct Hyde, Poyer, white Mitch Morris, Gabriel Davis. All were strong leaders and captains.
    With their exodus, the bills move Diggs telling you that the leadership in the locker room to maintain that type of personality is no longer there.
    And they’re not going to put Allen in a position where if he confronts Diggs it can split the locker room.
    The bills are paying $31 million not to have Diggs on the team that alone is your answer

  • @shamakiooglesby6418

    Mark is viewing it from a locker room/team chemistry standpoint and that is huge for a team with a young core. I can't speak on Diggs personally but Houston is looking to build a contender. Minimizing the malcontents should always be on front and center.

    Go look at Josh Allens passing highlights last year. It looked to me like almost every play he was highly inaccurate, and Diggs bailed him out with a spectacular catch. Or caught a 10 yard pass and Diggs made ut a spectacular play. Hes going to kill with CJs accuracy.

    • @hairpunut
      @hairpunut Месяц назад +1

      That's absolutely untrue lol. And if that's some of what you got from highlights idk what to tell you. Josh Allen has done things no QB ever has. As far as raw talent he has it all. Good football IQ and talent all over. Josh was playing poor due to diggs wanting to be the alpha. And when he didn't get his way turned the locker room upside down. The Texans knew this could happen, so they cut the leash to a year just in case it goes downhill. Diggs has been declining for awhile. His attitude is awful. He got mad because Josh Allen ask him to get open on a play in the scheme and he did whatever he wanted, the miss communication was innocent, but diggs started yelling at Josh. And Josh finally put him in his place. And diggs didn't like it. They literally finished 7-2 after the end of the season. Without diggs help the rest of the season. Pretty sure that means diggs wasn't "Him" lol. You also have only seen CJ play one year. One year ain't anything to base his career on. He's not proven yet, Josh Allen is 100% proven QB.

    He was a problem in Minnesota because he couldn’t handle Adam theilen taking targets away from him. He was a problem in Buffalo because he wanted the ball all game, every game. You think he won’t become a problem in Houston? He doesn’t have the break away speed, the team player attitude, or the late season durability to justify his price tag or his locker room issues. Maybe he just can’t play nice with others?

    Mark comparing competitive spirit with drug use is as hilarious as it gets. Diggs isn’t going to drag guys down, Demeco and CJ won’t allow Diggs to dictate the vibe of that locker room. They had a mass exodus of talent because they were in salary cap hell meanwhile Houston has been getting better all off-season. They already went into "the jungle" as they call it in Cincy and beat Burrow last year🤦🏾‍♂️🤣. I'll give ya Baltimore and KC although Baltimore lost 3/5 of their starting offensive linemen. Lost Geno Stone who lead the AFC with 7 INTS, Lost Pat Queen, Lost Duvernay, lost Darby and really only added Henry whom we shut down both times we played him last year. Best starting trio in the NFL now. Diggs won't have to be a one man show in the WR room. If it doesn't work there is no cap consequences. There is a potential downside...but I think DeMeco has talked to him before they traded and I trust his judgement...Diggs was in Houston working with Tank and CJ in a charity event a few weeks ago. I'm cautiously optimistic...but I'm a Texans fan so there's that.
