The accountant/analyst in me really appreciates this explanation. The lower the gear ratio, the easier the energy expenditure! Greatly demystifies the gearing. Thank you very much! I get it now💡😀

I like and appreciate that you explained every little detail to figure out how gear ratios work. Other videos just tell me to be on low and high without explaining why, but your explanations helped a lot (especially drawing out the distance travelled helped me put it together).

I really appreciate your explanation. The way you started the video showing 4 rotations on the rear wheel with one rotation on the crank, then 2/3 rotation on the rear vs 1 rotation the crank is a great visual. I understand ratios but this really shows the relationship of front gears vs rear. Awesome job!

Thank you so much. It was math at the end. Wonder why I didn't do this earlier. I have watched tons of videos on this topic but never before did truly understand what a lower/higher gear or easier/harder gear meant. I kept getting mixed up in why the largest front chain ring was highest while the largest rear chain ring was lowest.
This clear everything up Thanks a lot.
