I am 43 year man that lives in the UK. I started to going mass regularly since May have not missed a week and don't intend to miss a single one if I have God given strength in my body. My friends round me that have no interest in their Christian faith and of the world, but are taking a notice at the changes in me and are interested. They don't understand how I've stop some of my bad habits that have not been serving me, nor the amount of I've have learned in theology, philosophy, psychology, history, and holy scripture in a short time. A world of subjects that I've never had an interest for I now find fascinating. But I find it lonely and have no other humans to share my thoughts with that can understand me or follow my conversations. I find when I with my friends and family I have to deal with mundane and immature conversations that I only put up with it because I want to share what I have with the Lord with them. I only have our Lord and the Holy Spirit that understands me and corrects me (please never let me bring shame to you again Lord.) I know that more than most people have so I thank the Lord.

Well, you are on the right track, unfortunately this is sometimes a lonely road, because a lot of people are worldly in word and deeds.Be strong ,believe me Jesus will give you much much more then you can imagine ,dont go back to that worly live style,and if you fall then back to confession ,God will forgive you no matter how many times you fall. The important thing is to refuse sin ,you are destine for higher things, don't live in mud be clean in mind ,body and most importanly in soul .

I found the official website of the Paris Olympics 2024 and sent an email via their "FAQs /Contact Us" page which expressed my profound displeasure with the opening ceremony, and that I was boycotting the event by refusing to watch any of it. I'm sure that, if enough of us complain then the sponsors and advertisers would step in and re-educate the IOC accordingly.

I'm a Brit and currently in France, not for the Olympics, not in Paris, but at the Shrine of Our Lady of Lourdes in the south. I'm with a group of over 800 Catholics from Surrey and Sussex and there are many others here from all over Europe, including Britain, Ireland, Spain, Italy, Germany and Poland [list not exhaustive]. Yesterday [Sunday July 28], we had an international multilingual Mass in the underground Basilica and a Marian Procession in the evening.
That's exactly what I said too... That they are scared of Christianity !! It intimidates them. How silly. How could Christianity harm them?. Their hearts are hard and won't let God wrap his arms around them. Weird!! It's so lovely to have Him on our side. If only they knew!!

Catholic Church needs to get stronger in their Catechism with the children. I’m in my sixties, a cradle Catholic and I’m learning more now than I did as a child in Catechism. I’m now barely able to walk, so attending mass is very difficult. I’m not cold about my faith. I miss receiving communion, the body of Christ. There is things like the return of the body of the Christ should be returned to the tongue and many parts of the mass returned to traditional ways, such as I was growing up. Reverence needs to be restored, and protected. Two of my children have fallen away from the church. They went to Catholic school. I wanted them to have more knowledge about their faith than I got. I pray for them that they find their way back. I’m saddened that my children, grandchildren will see this nasty stuff, and on most days. I pray God can become the center of many peoples lives and we ask him for his Grace of forgiveness.

Difficult for the Pope to say anything against the anti-Christian themes in the Paris 2024 Olympic opening ceremony because he’s largely in agreement with the sentiment behind them. Pope Francis is for paganism (Pachamama), for sexual freedom (same-sex blessings) as well as against the sacredness of the Mass as depicted in the Last Supper (restrictions on celebrating the traditional Latin Mass). Pope Francis wants an all-inclusive One World Order religion to replace Catholicism, and the pagan Olympic ideals are a good starting point.

I am 43 year man that lives in the UK. I started to going mass regularly since May have not missed a week and don't intend to miss a single one if I have God given strength in my body. My friends round me that have no interest in their Christian faith and of the world, but are taking a notice at the changes in me and are interested. They don't understand how I've stop some of my bad habits that have not been serving me, nor the amount of I've have learned in theology, philosophy, psychology, history, and holy scripture in a short time. A world of subjects that I've never had an interest for I now find fascinating.
But I find it lonely and have no other humans to share my thoughts with that can understand me or follow my conversations. I find when I with my friends and family I have to deal with mundane and immature conversations that I only put up with it because I want to share what I have with the Lord with them. I only have our Lord and the Holy Spirit that understands me and corrects me (please never let me bring shame to you again Lord.) I know that more than most people have so I thank the Lord.

Well, you are on the right track, unfortunately this is sometimes a lonely road, because a lot of people are worldly in word and deeds.Be strong ,believe me Jesus will give you much much more then you can imagine ,dont go back to that worly live style,and if you fall then back to confession ,God will forgive you no matter how many times you fall. The important thing is to refuse sin ,you are destine for higher things, don't live in mud be clean in mind ,body and most importanly in soul .

After leaving noon Mass recently and while walking home, (I live in Lisbon, Portugal) I encountered a young man dressed in a male genitalia body-suit, who had deliberately stopped in front of an ice cream shop to chat-up a group of pre-pubescent boys on their way to a soccer game...I did speak to the boys once the man moved on and asked them if they were Catholic. They said they were. I then reminded them that we are made in God's image and that the human body is sacred....yes we must speak up whenever we have the chance....and calmly, with truth....as my Catechism instructor prompted us during our RCIA formation, the saints were never scandalized....
We need to pray for Our Children that they may learn that God made them in His image, because He loves them and wants to share heaven for eternity.

I found the official website of the Paris Olympics 2024 and sent an email via their "FAQs /Contact Us" page which expressed my profound displeasure with the opening ceremony, and that I was boycotting the event by refusing to watch any of it.

I'm with a group of over 800 Catholics from Surrey and Sussex and there are many others here from all over Europe, including Britain, Ireland, Spain, Italy, Germany and Poland [list not exhaustive]. Yesterday [Sunday July 28], we had an international multilingual Mass in the underground Basilica and a Marian Procession in the evening.

I haven't heard any comments about this performance from the Vatican or the Pope. Has he condemned this? If not, this would be a terrific opportunity to defend the Faith. Hope he will do it.

Evangelisation begins with conversion and continues in humility. Thr Lord has allowed the recent darkness because mankind prefers it. Only living saints can change our course. That call is to every baptised Catholic. A suggestion petition your Bishops to ask for Adoration in parishes, at least 3 hrs a day. Its the quickest, most potent form of evangelisation we have. 3 hrs a day at every parish would transform dioceses rapidly. Knock, ask & seek . Strength without anger is their biggest fear. So many grumble that they wouldn’t dare insult Islam but one has to ask why they don’t feel the need to do so. They do not see Islam as a threat because they do not believe it represents the true nature of and relationship between God and Man. These Lucifarians are locked in battle with Christianity and specifically Catholicism but don’t let denomination divide us. Our side is not an elite members club. Denomination is no barrier to entry so I beg you. Pray. Pray like your life depends on it. When you waver for a few days and doubt leaves you thinking prayer is futile….Pray again. I don’t implore you because I know it matters but because as someone who has struggled with my faith for my whole life I can say that I see such horrific evil in this world that I absolutely need God to help me. Things are so bad that only God can save us. There are no agnostics on a sinking ship. This ship is sinking fast.

The opening ceremony was a mockery of the Lord of the Universe, Jesus Christ, and the Holy Mass instituted at the Last Supper, and his holy Catholic Church which He founded.
Catholic Church needs to get stronger in their Catechism with the children. I’m in my sixties, a cradle Catholic and I’m learning more now than I did as a child in Catechism. I’m now barely able to walk, so attending mass is very difficult. I’m not cold about my faith. I miss receiving communion, the body of Christ. There is things like the return of the body of the Christ should be returned to the tongue and many parts of the mass returned to traditional ways, such as I was growing up. Reverence needs to be restored, and protected. Two of my children have fallen away from the church. They went to Catholic school. I wanted them to have more knowledge about their faith than I got. I pray for them that they find their way back. I’m saddened that my children, grandchildren will see this nasty stuff, and on most days. I pray God can become the center of many peoples lives and we ask him for his Grace of forgiveness.
I haven't watched the 2024 Olympics Opening Ceremony but from the snips and short clips of the event leads me to agree with the reflections of Bishop Baron and so many others. It was a disrespect and attack on Christianity, the Catholix faith.
And I wonder, all the money, intellect and energy of those involved in putting together the opening ceremony of the 2024 Olympics in Paris failed to convey the message of the olympics ... sportsmanship, camaraderie, unity and friendship.
As an Australian I am now concerned about what the Opening Ceremony in Brisbane might include. Let’s pray that from Paris we only go upwards.

I am appalled! This is outrageous. I will boycott these Olympics and anything related to this event. I hope we react very strongly and the people involved in this insult are made to understand just how unacceptable this act is to so many people. If I were an olympic athlete I would have been on a plane home last night.

Difficult for the Pope to say anything against the anti-Christian themes in the Paris 2024 Olympic opening ceremony because he’s largely in agreement with the sentiment behind them. Pope Francis is for paganism (Pachamama), for sexual freedom (same-sex blessings) as well as against the sacredness of the Mass as depicted in the Last Supper (restrictions on celebrating the traditional Latin Mass). Pope Francis wants an all-inclusive One World Order religion to replace Catholicism, and the pagan Olympic ideals are a good starting point.

I was asked if I could wait for my dress fitting appointment as the tailor shop had to complete the garments for the new novices of the Benedictine Order here in Brescia Italy. I said of course and how many young women will be entering the convent and they told me 14. I was astonished and delighted that 14 young ladies from this area are living their Faith in the midst of all the secular nonsense
