Jose Manuel Cruz, Artista Visual crea esta calavera "The Beauty in death / La belleza en la muerte" para la ofrenda de Dia de los Muertos de Revista Latina.
El "Día de los muertos" es una de las festividades más populares y de mucha algarabía para todos los mexicanos. Se acostumbra a llevar flores a los cementerios a la vez que se recuerdan a sus seres queridos, tradición que se ha trasmitido de generación en generación.
Una de las principales costumbres es utilizar calaveras en cada una de las ofrendas.
Estas imágenes en forma de esqueletos son utilizadas como representaciones que sirven como recuerdo de aquellos seres que ya no están en este mundo. Eso quiere decir que, de alguna u otra manera, representan la vida de quienes se fueron.
Sirven para recalcar la importancia de la aceptación de la muerte como parte de la existencia del ser humano que la vida es pasajera y hay que vivirla sabiendo que siempre hay un final.
