      High Sugar foods and drinks are actually beneficial after Resistance Training, because of the Insulin. Jay Cutler advised for a Coke after workout and Markus Ruehl advised for plain marshmallows or marshmallow spread directly after workout (in combination with protein etc.)

      Just eat a few bananas. Might not be as appetizing but they have a decent amount of sugar and you'll get some potassium in at the same time.

    After a fasted workout I consume an isolate whey and casien protien shake within the first hour of lifting. If I ate less than 3 hours before a resistant training workout, I have a protien shake 1 to 2 hours after the workout, and light second meal that usually consits of greens and protien.

    3. Alcohol
    4. Fried foods, pizza, hot dogs
    5. Salad or Vegetables unless you add chicken or tuna or any protein source
    6. Protein bars
    7. Mass gainers
    8. Eating nothing at all after workout is wrong too
    9. Anti-inflammatory meds incl NSAIDs
    10. Processed foods like chips & crackers
    You have to have proteins, complex carbohydrates & healthy fats after a workout

    Can you please tell me, what is the best amount of time to workout if you only want to build muscle, no need for weight loss just gaining muscle, I don't want to overtrain and lose gains, I'm aware of strength training with weights, but please let me know how long (time) days per week please?

    Are bananas and other fruits ok after workout? Along with whey milkshake?

      Bananas are one of the fruits that are on the higher end of sugar content. If you are carb sensitive, you could cut the banana in half and add it to your whey isolate protein shake. If you are not carb sensitive, it should be fine. Bananas contain 422mg of potassium and 3g of fiber, & 14 grams of sugar.
      If you are looking for fiber, Flax seeds and chia seeds are an excellent option.

    Acute muscle inflammation is the only reason I do workout. It's like a kind of durg. And with this inflammation if you go for body massage 💆‍♂️ it feels too good

    If Post workout anabolic window is a myth, then why do you mention that you have to eat something whether than nothing after you workout. Sounds like to me you contradict yourself, meaning that the Post workout anabolic window isn't a myth .

    You’re worried about not getting enough protein right after your workout? Don’t they say that’s a myth and it doesn’t matter when you take in your protein as long as it’s high in your diet overall??

      There are current studies that show that those who took up to 400 mg of ibuprofen post workout showed greater gains of muscle than those who didn't. But those who took greater than 400 mg of ibuprofen, had a negative effect on muscle gains. I usually take an Advil or 200 mgs of ibuprofen on my heavy deadlift days.

    My PWO shake: 50g organic brown rice farina, 50g organic sprouted oats, 25g Cluster Dextrin, 2 scoops unflavored 88% WPI, 2tbsp simply Hershey chocolate sauce. Macro’s: 815 cal’s, 4g fat, 120g carbs, 68g protein, 8g fiber, 22g sugar. I’m bulking and do intense lifting. If I want more cals and fats as MCT’s I toss in 20g of unsweetened organic coconut flakes yielding an extra 140 cal’s, 12g fat, 6g carbs, 4g fiber.
