  • After my last mid range video i decided to improve vtx signal performance, first step(cheap one) is to swap patch antenna.
    Will I have come farther?

    Now that you have the v3 version, maye you could compare them in longrange or do a video about a longrange flight with the v3

    • @nufanfpv
      @nufanfpv  7 месяцев назад

      it would be interesting but i sold EV800DM goggles, I can't do a "real" comparsion. You have to consider that V3 version has a 1.6W VTX vs V2 version 800mW. This don't mean that you duplicate the distance but, for sure, you can go farther with less problem

    Bel range complimenti!! Posso chiederti come hai fatto ad aumentare direttamente in volo la potenza della Vtx?

    • @nufanfpv
      @nufanfpv  26 дней назад +1

      Ciao, grazie! Ho associato una potenza diversa ai vari pulsanti presenti sulla radio tx16s. Volendo puoi cmq associare il cambio potenza ad uno switch qualsiasi (nel caso di uno switch a 2 posizioni va da se che potrai scegliere solo tra 2 potenze) o ad un potenziometro. L'associazione la si può fare solo tramite comandi CLI, ci sono alcuni tutorial su YT che ne parlano.

    is it good for penetration in bandos too? I don't want too much long range but want good penetration.

    • @nufanfpv
      @nufanfpv  Год назад

      Hi! In my opinion to improve analog penetration you have to choose a powerful vtx and a good receiver. Ev800 is a entry level goggles,.probably not the best for band due a not customizable rx

    Hey awesome flight,may I ask what VTX and VTX antenna are you running? I personally have the AKK RACE RANGER 200 to 1000mW vtx , speedybee long range antenna and the triple feed on my bigley brothers ev800 , been 1km so far no issues, wanting to go further

      I tried my GPS Rescue out and it started climbing in altitude, I have it set to current altitude,is it still going to climb in altitude before returning? Cause I freaked out and accidentally disarmed the quad when I tried to disengage the GPS Rescue and crashed lol.

    • @nufanfpv
      @nufanfpv  Год назад

      Hi, yes i'm happy cause it's very cheap (60€ second-hand) and has great performance! If you are a novice and you haven't big budget i advice it, if your budget is bigger you can buy EV300D or EV300O. In the 400/500€ range i would buy DJI goggles adding analogic receiver.

      @@nufanfpv You prefer analog over the digital? Why? Is the range better or something else? Im also in doubt whether to go digital or analog, analog seems cheaper

    • @nufanfpv
      @nufanfpv  Год назад +4

      @@tinblazevski7909 Digital has better video quality and same range but it's expensive and you can't choose. In analog you can choose different price goggles (from 60 to 500euro), in digital you can't. I would add analogic receiver to DJI goggles to be not forced to swap all my drones( tinywhoops drones couldn't never became digital ) from analog to digital: Vtx is more expensive too. Digital is better than Analog? Yes! Digital is needful? No. You have to decide thinking on your budget 😄 (this is only my opinion)

    Dai che almeno ti ho consigliato bene! Ma puoi fare secondo me fino a 3,5 km se hai batteria. Io mi sono fermato a 2,9 ma ancora ne aveva e la mia è la versione mini.

    • @nufanfpv
      @nufanfpv  Год назад

      Concordo con te. Il segnale era ancora buono, potevo spingermi oltre ma il limite adesso è dato dalla batteria. Rispetto a te credo di avere anche una VTX inferiore(800mW che in realtà, misurata, non supera i 600/650mW). In ogni caso dubito arriverò mai a dover sfruttare distanze così ampie...ma conoscere i limiti è sempre cosa buona per volare in sicurezza :D

    Have you tried to fly an li-on battery pack. Those will be able to give you a lot longer flight times for long range. They dont have the power output like a lipo but have a slower output of sustained power.
