My suggesstion would be tendam for places where you will keep your aata drum or other heavy items nd wire for normal items
Tandem baskets price is almost equal to the normal baskets. Recently I purchased Ebco tandem baskets
Ebco is less expensive compared to hettich and hafele but quality also good we are also using from 6 months no issues

What about perforated baskets? Is it not used these days?
Perforated baskets fall into the same category of SS trolleys, they are specifically used for Cutlery items as they are small.

Good information, I ve been using ss for about 11 yrs and always put wet utensils but the wires are still nonrusty. The channel's have become little damaged but still going on well I just keep oiling them. Good to go, they carry a lot of load and mine has never bended.

I am planning for modular kitchen but I am feeling as it is going to difficult comparing a normal Indian kitchen .like it is to be maintained like any wardrobe.for cutlery and spoons I have ss stands it takes very compact space and so convient.can you help

And yes, modular kitchen baskets, channels, hinges, etc. come with their own maintenance. But the convenience it offers in terms of usability and accessibility, it has become a current trend. Also it feels modern while using them.
Regarding your query, if you choose good tandem baskets and other hardware, you'll be loving your new kitchen more than your current one. But yes, you need to spend extra bucks for it. All the Best. :)

Hi sir, today there are many brands that provide good products. Laranza also seems to be a good brand, but we've not used it before so cant say much. You can check with the vendor about warranty and contact details for future needs, but we feel you can go ahead with it.

Yes, that can be done. These trolleys can be placed inside any box storage, just take care of how much weight it will carry.

When we put wet utensils in basket does it damage ply?

There are separate baskets for this purpose called WICKER BASKETS.. These usually stay open without any shutter/doors... If you want to keep in a SS trolley with shutter, then you can place a small grill for ventilation.

Tandem Basket channels are inseparable from its unit.. But YES there is a similar product available which can be used with wire baskets as well. It is popularly known as Quadro Channels. It has a similar softclosing effect but not as great as tandem.

These are generally provided by the Modular Kitchen providers as these are not DIY types. If you have a contractor/carpenter to assemble and execute this, then you can buy it either from their respective websites or similar brand which is available in nearby hardware shop.

Do you mean soft-close "CHANNELS" on SS Baskets? If yes, then we can use it.
How is Erra brand tandem...?
Erra doesn't seem to be a popular brand, so chances are more they are generic tandems. Generic tandems are not actually manufactured by the same brand, they just market them under their name. If you're getting an amazing deal they cannot be that bad, but still be a little cautious.
Can we make a kitchen with a mix and match of both type of baskets
Yes definitely, you can mix and match as per the requirement and need. From outside it will look no different.
is there rusting problem in ss bqskets
SS 304 grade baskets do not get rust. The channels are more prone to rust, but there are SS options in that too if you spend some extra bucks.

For wet utensils there is a separate product category called GT-PT-DT (Glass Tray, Plate Tray, Dip Tray) which is specifically meant for that purpose. Will try to cover that in some future video.

Yes, you can mix and match these two as per your need. They will not affect the kitchen look from outside.

Remove around 0.75 inch for SS trolley and 1.25 inch for Tandem Baskets outer height to get inner height

Hi mam, insects can breed in any of these cases.. but yes it is more easier for them to roam in SS baskets.. From outside both are enclosed with shutters.

YES, there is an option in SS trolleys where it can be fitted on a frame and can be removed easily for cleaning.
How do you if it is 304 or 204 SS trolleys
For an end user its hard to recognize the difference between the two as both are electroplated from outside. The main difference is in its weight, the SS304 one is heavier than the other.
How abt the weight carrying capacity in each case ss trolleys and tandem baskets
SS trolleys weight carrying depends on the type of channels used which ranges from 15-20 kgs... White Tandem offers 2 versions: 35kg and 65kg
Which company better hardware
If you are asking for Drawer System, it should be Hettich and Blum.. But Hettich is only good for Drawer Systems, for other hardware you should choose Blum. (as of 2022)

Yes, having a skirting is always good in every kind of furniture.
Pros: doesn't hurt toes while opening, and easy to clean from beneath
Cons: reduces the internal height of below platform thus wasting storage space, and only 2 trolleys can accommodate above that.
