CALAX complete night drive - Joyride 2021 (subsection 8 to 5)

- Finally #CALAX subsection 8, 7, 6 and 5 is open to the public from Laguna to Silang. This is the dusk / early night drive along #CaviteLagunaExpressway Soon the approximately 43 km whole CALAX alignment will be open to the public connecting Laguna to Kawit Cavite. The expressway has layby and a 2 lane per direction roadway plus led light post as it passes urban and populated areas.

Mukang tinipid yung expressway kulang kulang yung mga lights. Tapos concrete pa yung road di pa ginawang standard asphalt
Sobra laki ng tulong ng calax since I’m working in Technopark. I can traverse the area in 30mins lang coming from Muntinlupa. Dati it takes 45mins to an hour.

Just curious....how was the drive over concrete vis-a-vis asphalted expressway, like Skyway 3 or SCTEx?
The concrete along subsection 5 particularly cmpancho works was smooth. As for dmci portion there is improvement.

There are still constructions safety cones being done on some portions on the right lane when we shot this. This is why we opted to stay in the left plus there are no other vehicles nearby. We DO KNOW that when there are incoming vehicles we YIELD to it.
Wala. Pag walang aspalto, wala rin yang ilaw. Unfair lang kasi lahat ng mga expressway ay aspaltado, maliban sa STAR Tollway from Lipa to Batangas City.
Sa pagkakaalam ko po at pagkakadinig ko, originally papatungan talaga ng MPTC ng aspalto ang CALAX. Pero di daw pumasa sa standard ng TRB, kaya for the meantime, sinementuhan muna nila yung kalsada.
But, somehow, I can see why it's unfair, so... 🤷
