I got a new controller 3 months ago, and it already has stick drift despite me never damaging it. It’s frustrating, cause I never had this problem when I was younger, the newer controllers are made so damn poorly. I know it ain’t no dust either.
My 1st DualSense got stick drift so I sent it to Sony support and they sent me a new one. Guess what? It got drifted after 4 months (November 2023) I bought a 2nd new Dualsense controller in April 2024, it got stick drift after 15th June even though I didn't press it too hard because of the experience with the first controller. Cleaning the parts really fixes the drifting. I did on my first controller but I'll send the 2nd one because it has the warranty. I'm unsure if they made the controller to support any Off-road Racing games. "Best for Drifting" . Thank you for your video ♥
ordered kits have 2 controllers to practice this LOL ,i usually work on laptops and desktop, for some reason im not confident with controllers since they're so tiny .watching your videos definitely informative .
Great video. I wonder why it always seems to be the right stick with left-drift every time? And how similar are the DualShock 4 components, as I've never had drift issues with them?
After going through roughly a controller every 2 to 4 months for the past 4 years. From xbone to series S, it gets old even if you get warranties. Went with Gamesir hall effect controller and I'm 9m month 3. Supposedly the new gamesir hall effect lasts 5million rotations. So far so good.
Hey I have another question if you don’t mind, could I mix the clicks triggers with tomsin paddles ? Cause I know one is extremerate and one is tomsin brand does that matter or can I use both ?
The only used ps5 controller I've found to not have stick drift is the bdm-040 cause they are the newest version. Only thing is extremerate doesn't make clicky kit for that model yet.
@@TheGamer2KnowAs somebody who got new PS5 Slim 2 months ago, 3 days ago i got terrible stick drift on left stick. It just curves to left no matter what you do. I don’t even have time to play PS5 but bought it for after season when i have a lot of time, i turn on need for speed here and there and that’s it. Horrible quality, i’m going to sell PS5 anyways and build myself a pc, which will be more useful, don’t get me wrong, PS5 by itself is a good console but controllers are horrible, i won’t buy new one every 2 months, or spit 230€ for an egde dualsense.
Don't be buying expensive phones and cheaping out when it's time to repair. You'll lose more by cheaping out. We may not like the prices but unfortunately that's all we get.

The trigger mechanism on 040 are completely different. The engineers are working on a solution for that.
