Just recently got a Sheoldred The Apocalypse, Jeweled Lotus, Edgar Markov, and a Cavern of Souls for $160 which seemed like a crazy good deal! I was actually in the process of making a vampire deck with Astarion, The Decadent as the Commander before this deal so I figured I'd look into what Edgar is all about and how some people build him! While, I don't agree with everything in this video I agreed with most of it and it gave me a ton of great ideas! Thanks for the video and keep up the great work! You definitely deserve more subscribers! Subscribed!
Absolute love the video! I just started building ann Edgar deck myself, and you had a lot of great insights. The one thing I caught that I thought was interesting was you calling Blood Artist a worse version of a few other cards. While it only targets one player, it has the benefit that it triggers whenever any creature dies, not just yours! Wasn't sure if you saw that or not. Thanks again for the great video, and I look forward to the next one!
fantastic video! looking to get into magic and love vampires, it’s funny i’m following a aggro build on that website that’s a 5.2 build, and all your cards are in that build too so i’m way more confident in your advice. Thanks! i’m new, love this deck alrdy. Haven’t bought a single card yet, I know edgar is getting reprinted so i’ll definitely wait but eh, won’t mind buying now
Love all these videos, Edgar is one of my flavor favorites! Side note! Have you considered using dark mode in Moxfield? I find it easier to see/use than the default light mode!

In aggro decks I like my card draw to be immediate (night's whisper or Rowans grim search here) or attached to a creature like dark confidant. Phyrexian arena needs to come out early and gets worse the later you draw it. If you want that effect and can budget, necropotence or necrodominance are better alternatives.
Around 30 lands might be good for a very low curve and Ad Nauseam deck with very aggressive mulligans - I personally have an Edgar deck with low curve and Ad Naus strat BUT... I can't go lower than 34 lands (maybe 33 in the future).

If you need more lands, why don't' you add dark depths for another threat and tabernacle? I think they would go really really well toogether

Throw in a phyrexian altar and you go infinite with Blood Artist and Oathsworm vampire.
malakir bloodwitch is a very good higher mana card in this deck when you have a bunch of vamps out
