Oh no someone is doing a completely wholesome activity that brings happiness to others, we better put a stop to that!
@@christieraper5472 😂😂 yeah it's crazy they had a problem with it lol
The paint is beautiful, thats a shame this security can't realise how precious is having someone like you doing a painting of this beautiful three, and festive time. Great job
@@fiama_xoxo4236 thank you. I agree ❤️
What a scrooge that security guard at the end. Oh no someone's painting! They must be stopped! Illegal! Lmao
@@spanishjohn420 yeah absolutely no Christmas spirit at all! It was disappointing that they wouldn't let me finish the painting!
Another great demonstration George. It must have been a very boring night for the security to come up and question a painter quietly painting in the corner of a massive public space. There will always be someone who gets an ego trip by asserting their authority unneccessarily if given a chance. Don't let these joy killers get to you. Keep showing your talents to the world.
Thank you! Yes I agree! It will not discourage me :)
Sorry you were given such a hard time by security, but it was worth it for such an amazing painting! I’m always grateful for your good painting advice. Merry Christmas!
Thank you! Merry Christmas! :)
Well done!
@@daleshawn1910 thanks!
hey bro happy new year! if it's the cake that im thinking of, it sounds like hungarian chimney cake
I don't understand what they thought you were doing wrong??? Perhaps like someone said, security for Christmas markets. Well anyway, the painting turned out brilliant and I was particularly interested to see how you painted the lights so well. 😊Have a great new year!
@@ALD74 me neither! I'm happy you like the painting, thanks! Painting the lights was definitely my favourite part to do. Wishing you a happy new year!
i'm
also guessing that security might have been a bit "tense ", because of the latest terrible incident at xmas market .. your painting turned out really nice !!! happy healthy holidays to you !!
True that could have been the case! Thank you! Happy Christmas :)
Im interested in Nocturna too
That’s crazy how you need permission in a public space, and you weren’t in the way as well. Beautiful painting though, merry Christmas.
@@Zoewhiteart7676 I agree! That's never happened to me before, I was really surprised! I'm happy you like the painting :) Merry Christmas!
Did u have a lamp on your easel?
I was positioned under a bridge which had lights on it so luckily that was good enough to work in. I had brought a light just in case but I didn't use it in the end :)
Just security being bellends, makes them feel big. Pretty sure you don't need a permit to paint in a public place in England anywhere
Yes I thought the same thing!
Isnt it easy to start on dark toned panel? For nocturnal scenes
I haven't tried that but I often find I paint nocturnal paintings too dark in value overall so by working on a light panel it encourages me to paint lighter in value. Some of my favourite nocturnal paintings aren't actually that dark in value but the night is implied more through colour temperature
A shame that they cannot see the value of having an artist working at their location. It would only serve to create a more enjoyable holiday experience for their shoppers.
Thanks I agree! I've never been moved before. All of the public who walked past were very happy to see me painting. I never thought I would have needed a permit!
Joke jobsworth merchants.
I agree!
