You can get most permanent marker off of things (like whiteboards and tables) by drawing over them with a dry erase marker and then erasing that. It is devil magic, but may save your table, Tom.
It's because dry erase marker contains an ink solvent, the idea is to have in thinned out by solvent, you write, the solvent evaporates. So just having sharpie text sit covered in an appropriate solvent for a few seconds is enough to dissolve it, then you can just wipe it off.
@@Eagle3302PL That makes sense! I lucked into my dry-erase fix way back at my first job when I drew a cartoon cow on a whiteboard in the back with a permanent marker and then couldn't erase it. My stupid answer was to just color over it with another marker to... hide it? I have no idea. But! It fixed the cow-whiteboard issue that my supervisor likely would have been a bit upset about.
The meat boy segment at the end felt like a fever dream I'd have after eating ice cream too late at night and binging through a playlist of all of Matt's old "the Opener" videos
I like to think at the end of the financial year, you hand in some receipts to an accountant who asks "You're board game reviewers, why do you have down mince and blueberries as expenses?" And then you have to try explain yourselves.
Tom has just freaking ascended. This boy is up in the higher magneteospheres, with no way to come down, just casually reviewing board games from beyond the veiled infinities
Loved this review Tom! While I am haunted by the implications of Meat Boy, I will accept him as one of your many beloved characters. Keep up the good work!!
On a bit of a binge for this channel and I will say, I audibly shouted at the TV "no" in horror at meat boy, because it was weirdly unsettling but still enjoyable. 😂
Rush MD is so much fun to play, or rather it plays you. I love having all these oddball games in my collection, there obtuse breaths of fun air between runs of new or dry, or heavy , game nights. Thanx Tom
Could you bring back the Kitchen Rush Review Cam next review? Just title the box "Back by popular demand; Kitchen Rush Review Cam" and offer no explanation. Especially if it's not popular; that would make it even funnier. I could do without more meat boy though.
Tom, dude, I hope that intro was just being humorous, cuz I hope you ain't feeling like the lighting on the video was bad or stuff like that. You being a lot of fun and your videos are always a lovely addition to the catalog of SU&SD. Carry on mate, you doing just fine.
That kitchen rush video in the corner was the biggest Chekhov's gun ever, yet it didn't ever pay off which just made it an annoying distraction in the corner of my screen
As the Meat Boy segment intensified, I was reminded more and more of the End of Evangelion. "I know. I know I've let you down...because of that it's killing me inside..."
Ahhh please, what's the name of the song that appears in the first few seconds? It's not Aaron Copland's Hoedown but I can't find ittttt. Song identifier extensions aren't working...
Aw man. It's like those TVs in the corner of the pub. I do really want to concentrate on talking to my friends but Homes Under the Hammer. I can't concentrate on the review cause I'm looking at the box in the corner.
It appears that "For Science" is no longer on Amazon...probably because it's out of stock on the publisher's website. Must be the blessing and curse of a SUSD recommendation 😛
Even for a Tom review, this was rather...unhinged. Like he thought of a funny joke to include in part of it, put it in, decided it actually wasn't that funny, but then decided to triple down on the joke to make it MORE FUNNY rather than cast it out. I mean, I enjoyed the double review, I'm just unnerved, that's all. Putting a copy of a previous review into a box at the bottom of the screen was genius though.
With the greatest of respect, having another video running in the corner of your video is kind of insane. Don't do that. It genuinely misunderstands how human eyes work.
Based on this review Rush MD seems the clear winner, however it also feels like you have to have EVERYTHING made for it to make up the completely over the top “simulation” experience.
The permanent marker on table issue can probably be solved with alcohol. Hand sanitiser works well. "Alcohol! The cause of, and solution to, all of life's problems" - H Simpson.
I sometimes wonder “is Tom OK?” but I never expected I’d get this clear cut of a “no”.
"NOH-"
I always love how Tom's videos open up like a Tim & Eric sketch and then turn back into a normal review at a breakneck pace
This one turned back into a Tim and Eric sketch
who's eric?
@@Crumplebutt If Tim & Eric did Un Chien Andalou.
Normal?
I enjoy that too, it's like: here's 2 minutes of an unholy combination of Brass Eye and Tim & Eric. OK back to standard programming now.
Thanks for haunting my nightmares with meat boy, Tom.
MEATMOY
I'm extremely unsettled but also glad he's happy

Devil's magic indeed... *breaks out Sharpie*
Or any rubbing alcohol and hand sanitizer. Permanent markers are generally alcohol soluble.

Bach's Cello Suite No. 1 in G Major at the end for anyone wondering. Banger
The meat boy section seriously gave me feels of "Hug me I'm scared" And that is a good thing...I think?
Tom has just freaking ascended. This boy is up in the higher magneteospheres, with no way to come down, just casually reviewing board games from beyond the veiled infinities
The little review cam constantly rolling in the corner is killing me 😆
Tom fits in SUSD perfectly, his humor and editting are getting better each day
Lovely to see Kim Kitsuragi's framed portrait in the background, a guardian angel watching over our chaotic boi Tom.
Yep anyone who's played and enjoyed disco elysium (a genuine modern masterpiece in gaming) is someone who's opinion I trust when it comes to games.
I've been watching SUSD reviews since 2016 but Toms recent work is some of the most fun I've had watching. Great humour and very creative ideas.
I was thinking the same! Vintage pear was great, and Tom really taps into that vibe 😁
Didn’t hear any of the Meat of the Matter portion of For Science because I was too busy learning Meat Facts.
"Like slapping organs into a waiting body" - this line absolutely slayed me.
I wasn't expecting that horror turn at the end with meat boy
How did that ending manage to be so provocative? All I could do was laugh quietly and wimper "nooo..."
I had the exact same response XD
Chuckling uncomfortably and muttering “no no no..” alone in my house…
Such a lovley dissection/operation scene at the end. As a boardgaming forensic pathologist, I approve of this very much ;)

Great video. The review cam and scrolling ticker being there for way too long was an incredible joke.
1:05 I'm counting the script on toilet paper as a Battle Royale reference. Congratulations, Mr. Fukasaku, you've finally made it to the big leagues.
isopropyl alcohol should clean the ink right up fam, I got you. That or write dry ink over it and it should rub off
I have nobody to play any of these games with and probably never going to buy any but I love watching you guys. Thank you so much
The ending absolutely slayed me
We're getting quite surrealistic there, aren't we??? WOW... That was a trip.
The Meat Boy ending gave me Don Hertzfeldt vibes 💛
I heard about a streamer who once peeped the horror. That guy was zonked.
When meat boy smile, I smile
I know we're in for it when Tom has the handheld microphone. Another genius review!
So good. I love this boy and I'm definitely going to watch a RUclips again.
Was expecting another "Boy Cured" at the end there lol
I'm looking at Patreon thinking "Meatboy in stop-motion is an honorable endeavor filled with purpose". Great video and reviews, btw!

Happy that Tom finally joined the ranks of "The Knights Who Say 'nu'"
I am absolutely integrating "pop on a little chipolata brooch" into my day to day speech
I've rewatched the first like 2 mins intro of this video like 10 times already it's sooo hilarious.
That ending was the most WTF thing I've ever seen.

The little clip of 'are' Charles struggling with the syringe was a touch of class. Medicool! 😎
That ending was very David Firth. Loved it. Never change Tom.
Love the sound you mad when you realized the ink bled through the bog roll onto the table.
Tom's proper class, keep up the good work mate. The best boardgames reviewer at the moment.

Im 1:39 seconds into this video and it is pure madness. I expect this fever dream to continue throughout the video. That's a Thumbs up from me!
I was not disappointed
I paused it at the same time because I expected the top comment would be in reference to him screaming "NOO-" about the marker on the table. haha.
I love how the second game you legit just use childrens toys to build a tower lol

I hope you got some wild passive which allows you to put that blue semicircle on that green arch
This was chaos and I loved it
Fun fact. For Science is by the same designer as Spirit Island

Dammit Tom I was eating when you decided to “get medical”
Feels like these games would be great to play once or twice in a boardgame bar rather than at home.
Unless the patients have a buzzing, glowing red nose, no deal!
The end had me question my sanity and whether I had taken a bunch of drugs 20min ago. 10/10 would meat boy again.
That font on Boy Cured really is the Dark Souls of references

Well, that smile broke me and will haunt all my dreams. Thanks Tom!
