As someone who was stood way far back, I can't tell you how much I appreciate this upload, seeing them up close and actually making out their faces as they perform. Sure we've all seen live videos of them before, but this gig is beyond special (for obvious reasons) and this just let me relive that experience with new eyes. So thanks.
Yes he certainly has. I have always loved the sonic landscape he creates. He compliments and adds to the sound so well. I was lucky to see them in the early 2000s which to me was there prime. Deadwing tour was tops for me
Saw this tour from the front row in NYC and the third row in Los Angeles. Not the best seats to hear the full sound, but that's what records, headphones, and the eventual(?) DVD are for. But the view was incredible. Getting to watch Gavin Harrison up close is worth all the money spent for those two trips.
they are coming to germany again next year for a few shows. but i read that in 2023 steven will release his new solo album, maybe after that there’s a solo tour first
@@leon_k Hopefully they'll come back around again. I'm in the states and the closest show to me was actually on my birthday this year, but I was busy unfortunately.
Was at this with friends, great band and performance. Wish the gig had been at somewhere a bit smaller and more gigs up n down the country. Would have loved to watch them at Apollo sized venues (better sound in those places). Can't have everything, glad I got to see them even if I'm not keen on big venues like this.
I saw there SF show in Sept and was blown away. A vacation put me in the UK at the same time as this show but sadly my name on the waitlist was not drawn. Would have been incredible to see this show and fly home the next day. In his interview with Rick Beato last week, he hinted that this tour was most likely the "Conclusion". I hope that's not the case since there is so much demand for their music. Either way, I'd happily travel to see a SW solo show given what amazing music he writes and the talent he surrounds himself with.
Extraordinary, pure perfection! I was at Mexico City concert last October. Steven forgot the lyrics 😅 but the performance was stunning, Gavin is such a master!
Being in the middle of the stage 3rd row was unreal, brilliant sounding gig. The heavy stuff was heavy as fuck, Steven really knows how to push them Badcats
Interesting to see you mention the rip off prices in the video description. First time I'd been in Wembley Arena, paid 17 quid for a chicken burger, chips and a coke. Crazy stuff.
ALL Top end ,short of bass-bins ,hang curtains like the Floyd to break up reflections, and build the wall of Sound Gratefull DEad Fans Know, But its A kick -Ass Tune. P_T Rule
@@Patdlm It is excellent....but also I have put on a very expensive pair of headphones and the sound has come out as clear as a commercial product...very nicely done. :)
No Colin Edwin on bass,,, That wasnt PT, ive seen them in 500 capacity venues, also seen SW on his solo shows and everytime i seen him the fame diluted everything he was about......
I saw them in clubs with 300 people. I agree it was not the same without Colin and Wez. The last PT gig was the Albert Hall 2010 I was lucky to be there. In some ways I wish they had never done this. I had accepted that they were done. I am very into what Steve is doing as a solo artist. Can't wait for his next tour and album.
It may have been the ‘dying of the light’ but at least you can say you were there, which wasn’t what I expecting after seeing them in 2010. Just a shame they (may) have had to sign out at Wembley where the acoustics are 💩
I like Porcupine so much...great band..but..this is not their level, something is missing....Porcupine has their phenomenal era until 2010, and that's it...
I so wanted to like this. But for me it's a plodding pastiche of the 70s bands almost every element is taken from. So I'd rather listen to the creative originals. It was originally a pastiche, like the Ruttles were of the Beatles, of course.

One of the most powerful tracks from a record that rivals The Wall. LOVE.
Richard Barbeiri proving just how much he's bought to this band over the decades....

@@Patdlm That's what I missed at Wembley, nothing from Deadwing, saw the Rescue rooms warm up gig in Nottingham and it was awesome!
Halo ?
Was that one of the encores, I left after the 1st one, had a train to catch...
@@robertedge4183 You got the train but missed Trains? What irony...
(Yeah, Halo was the second encore...)
Absolutely flawless! These guys are the BEST! ❤

If this was really their last tour, then I think the fact that I could've seen them and didn't will haunt me for the rest of my life.
Same here
X3
Went to the mtl show it was mind melting

Saw them in Stockholm, this was definitely one of the highlights of the set. The chorus sounds massive!
I was at this show, came from Miami to see it. Worth every penny!

I have seen Porcupine Tree Live TWICE and they are the BEST BAND THAT EVER LIVED
One of the best bands and a song that is epic!
I was at Wembley,it was a fantastic gig.
I never missed them in NYC, this song always made me lose my shit. I love this band
Procupine Tree ao vivo é bom demais!!!!!Esperamos pela banda no Brasil!!!
Extraordinary, pure perfection! I was at Mexico City concert last October. Steven forgot the lyrics 😅 but the performance was stunning, Gavin is such a master!
Esperamos vcs aqui no Brasil
Just doesn't feel the same without Colin and John. Great performance though, and the album is brilliant.

Su sinfonía musical y lírica no desaparecerá. Puede que muy pronto vuelvan a reunirse. Hasta entonces los seguiré por RUclips.
I was at the Amsterdam concert what a great show, setlist and video's. See my review on Harold's Prog Rock Show on my own You Tube channel. Enjoy.
Amsterdam was quite amazing!
I was at the Toronto Canada show. Sound was incredible. God was on the Drums that night and Steven couldn;t play unless he is barefoot.
Agree. Best show of the year imo.
"Liked to Play Barefoot" is the epitaph on more than a few musicians' headstones. Seriously.
Greatest show of the year. Also in Milano the best song ❤
Moody Blues sounded good there and they were runing 45Kw potential/Stereo Hi-Fi
Do SW's feet ever get cold?
Srangely...you are not the first to ask that question :)
Interesting to see you mention the rip off prices in the video description. First time I'd been in Wembley Arena, paid 17 quid for a chicken burger, chips and a coke. Crazy stuff.
Yeah I paid about nine quid for a teardrop's worth of wine.... horrendous
£9.25 for a bloody hotdog… disgrace to put into one word to describe it..
LEGGENDARIA

I was conflicted about the prices too - same with Peter Gabriel - way too expensive!
is there a Pink Floyd influence from just watching the screen?. That's the impression I got when I was there on Friday!
no....
Do you mean the stage set up? Because I'd agree it does evoke Pulse Tour era Floyd concerts
I think you will find Pink Floyd were influenced by Steven Wlson :).........
Thats actually a very good quality recording...both video and sound....what did you use ?
Google pixel 7 Pro. The camera on this phone is outstanding

Sounds like mashed potatoes on my 32-Bit audio card with Roland monitors. Go figure.
wilson shouldnt cut his hair and keep it like when he was in tilburg gig. he rlly wanna do some headbang so hard in this gig, i can see that

Glad to see you Steve. Maybe you could come to Moscow ;( someday
Once Russia leaves Ukraine, he might think about it
People stop clapping. You’re off.
God bless them but they are a spent force
Nature lives
No Colin or Wes = No PT. Pale imitation.

Horrible audio. Unfortunate.
Very long-winded, sometimes hard to bear.
