Is that your first motorbike? Depends on what you're after really a tourer or entry sports bike maybe. Something big enough to put paniers on if you are wanting to travel.
I'd upgrade from a 500 if I was You ,but would try to make an actual step forward and go aim for something with atleast 90+ horsepower to make the upgrade worth it.
Got the same bike. I've done 11000 miles on it since getting it new in late 2020. Went to the dealers Friday to enquire about a trade-in for a Hornet 750. Trade in value was reasonable but not great. Had a change of heart today, and I've decided to keep the Rebel it does everything I require from a motorcycle. My only major issue is seat comfort, which is cheaper to rectify than splashing out on a new bike. Malcolm.
Not been impressed by the Hornet, but then again I've not ridden it. I think I'm leaning towards keeping the Rebel but I keep getting tempted by Triumph
what bike would you get to replace it? I have a 2015 FJ09 and it's been an amazing tourer. I have a goal to put 100K miles on it. sometimes when I think I want a new bike I just think about how much my bike has taken care of me, and I would be sad to let it go. there is so much exploring I want to do with my bike it is serving its purpose real well. and I think that is a question you have to ask yourself. is the bike serving the purpose you truly desire.
Great vlog Scott thanks. Get an older Transalp, cracking ride, loads of room and plenty quick enough.

I'm feeling the same way about my CBR500r. Good luck with whatever you decide!
Thanks. how's the comfort on the CBR500r?
@@ScottTheBike It's okay. The ergonomics are good but the stock seat will start getting uncomfortable after about an hour of riding

Your money your choice.
How about the rebel 1100
I have been thinking about it. But I'd rather try something that's a bit different to what I have now
I just bought a super media 650 good choice
Is that anything like a Super Meteor?
Conor McGlinchey any advice for Scott.?
What gloves did you say you had on Scott?

At the minute I'm thinking of a triumph bonneville. Not set on what model varient yet. I'll have to have a ride on the first
Super Meteor might be the best replacement in terms of low cost and longer runs
Have been thinking of taking one out for another test ride.
