My F15D Yanmar 3-point lift stopped working. I really appreciate your information. I'm much more likely to tackle the job of fixing it. However I need to use my tractor while the weather is cooperating so I rigged up a 12v Harbor Freight 1500 # winch to the rollover bar and for now it works good enough to get the work done. Well done!

I just bought a YM1500 and its leaking hydraulic fluid out the top of the 3 point actuation valve where the copper washers and bolt go into the top. Going to order a couple of those copper washers and hope that does the trick. Any tricks to getting that supply line in the right place to get the top bolt to go through it and back into the top of the valve?

I have never had any trouble with them, it’s just like a brake line on a car, it should seal up without too much trouble.

I HAVE A YM1610D. 3 pt does not work. FEL works fine. Hydraulic screen clean. Hydraulic fluid clean.Removed the 3 pt actuator.. Did NOT see any steel ball. (a) Should I have one? Does not show on parts manual. (b) There is some minor abrasions on the piston - it this a concern? (c) Examined the valve from above through the 3 holes, looks clean. Your suggestion on what is next?

I have a yanmar 1500 and the 3 point picks up a heavy load but slowly comes down. Hydro pump makes and little bit of a whining noise any suggestions?

There’s a little lever that flips around, best way to describe it is it’s a roll pin that is the lever. Flip it around until the implement goes down faster. I believe I showed it in the video. If you need more help let me know. I would have to look at mine to remember exactly where it’s at (somewhere on the upper of the rear transmission box.

Tractors I have owned have a screen like that on the hyd. pickup , but a pleated paper cartridge after . After 40 years it might not make much difference but I wonder if there is any benefit to adding a bypass spin-on to get finer filtration . I have never worked on yanmar , so I might be talking out my a**

I’m sure there would be a benefit to adding a spin on filter that is for finer particulate. The trick would be finding one that’s high flow enough. None the less, the tractor has ran for years and years and years without so I’m guessing there probably is not a real need for a fine filter. Thanks for watching!

That’s going to be fun. More than likely A lot of stuff will have to be split apart for that fix.
