Your videos are super helpful, you've totally convinced me to hire a planner for my wedding next summer! Can I just say though it's so funny to see all these wedding finish so early, I'm Greek, and our wedding last until all hours of the morning I can't imagine being done by 9.30 when the party is just getting started!! Lovely wedding by the looks of it though! :)
I was just thinking that! I'm Slovenian, our weddings tend to last throughout the night, too. The last wedding I attended lasted until around 2 in the morning and that was considered a short wedding (originally it was meant to last much longer, but everyone, including the bride and groom, was exhausted) 😀

So fun to see behind the scenes! I always can't believe in these videos though how short American weddings seem to be! Makes it seems so rushed for timeline 🙈 here in Ireland, ceremony usually starts anywhere from 12:30pm to 2:30pm and dinner is at about 6pm ish and the party goes all night! Couples rarely have a grand exit and generally leave at the end of the night or at least stay until midnight... I guess it's just different, weddings here are a marathon all day event which is good and bad too I guess haha

This makes me sooooo happy I decided to cut out any group portraits & go with a photographer that specialized in candids. Not one part of me regrets saying no to leaving my friends and family and being present in my wedding 💗
I second this! It seems like photos take up so large portion of the day. Candid photos for the win!
@@Averybean98 we did take 15 minutes after the ceremony to take a few portraits in the cathedral with parents & siblings, but we legit did it before we made our ‘grand exit’ so it wasn’t even noticed. Then went off to cocktail hour, and took some portraits during golden hour for about 20 minutes while the guests were going from cocktail to dinner seats. (We obv didn’t have to spend time finding our seats like the guests)

Love these videos so helpful in lots of ways. Also if it's not too much strain on the budget these behind the scenes might be way cool if you wore a go pro type camera... I know it's a lot of editing though

Oh my god your weddings are soo short in America..I love it!! Here in europe weddings can start on 11 am and end on 4 am..so 17 h is quite normal and that can be very hard on guests and the couple. But what I prefer on europe weddings is the party at night. I couldnt imagine to end a party at 10 or 11 pm. Thats also a bit early for my opinion.
Its the labor laws. At least here in California, over 8 hours you have to pay overtime. Most weddings here are only 5 or 6 hours so that the staff is only on the clock 8 hours. It does seem very short! Most weddings I go to have an after party somewhere off site after the festivities.
A year later and this video was so helpful! If only you were based out of the east coast! Or if I had a lot of money I would so so so hire you
I live in the Temecula area and OMG the traffic is horrible! I'm so glad everything went smoothly for them. I hope the traffic isn't as bad for my wedding in February.

Hello! I am in the early stages of starting my Wedding Planning Company. Could you please make a video for starters. I have made the decision become a Wedding Planner for many reasons. One reason is kind of the same as yourself. (Experience and failures of my big day that I wouldn't wish on ANY BRIDE and the fact that I loooooove Weddings and Event Planning!) My photographer is local shes only coming for a few hours and leaving ✌👍👍 my officiant is also coming and going ! Now my rental places for decor is literally down the street dude I'm all set for that 🙏 no need to feed vendors 🤗 just the DJ and Bartender lol

Say hypothetically, a couple was getting married at a venue where the wedding was all in one place. But, they wanted transportation from the venue to the hotel of their choice - and they didn't just want any transportation, but transportation in a sports car like a Chevy Corvette convertible. How might the couple go about obtaining such transportation for their wedding?

Quick question about the couples exit, cause you mentioned that was happening at a very specific time and as a result they only got an hour on the dance floor... was that time not flexible for some reason? Did they have a flight to catch, or was it an imposed end time from the venue or due to noise restrictions..? Just wondering if they could have hung around a little longer to keep dancing :)
At our venue we have to be out at a certain time. If we are not out at that time it cost extra to be there. That might be why?? Of course I don't know specifics about their day haha

Ahh no her bustle should be tucked in and not poking out like that. I worked in a bridal shop and we had to teach brides this. I suggest you make sure your brides look at some bustle videos to prepare for reception.
Brianna Whitfield yeah! We tried!! It was sooooo hard to bustle! I just wanted to get out there and party so I made them rush it!! 😂😍😂 Didn’t matter since most of it ripped halfway through the reception!! 😂😂

I’m sure your job is very chaotic and busy and times, but honestly I’d be pretty upset to think about how much you’re getting paid to stand around and laugh about how you have nothing to do because the venue has taken care of it.
That is literally how EVERY job works? You have points where you are more busy, and points where you are less.
