I think when you grow up rich the people you grow up with have trust funds or they get the family business. They don't actually work and if they do it's not that hard. Kim probably works just as much as a middle class mom. She's not slaving away 80 hour work weeks to put food on the table. Working class hard work is definitely different from upper class hard work. You have to produce >$9K worth of ag product to classify for this though in most states, some it’s higher. A way you can get around this is let’s say you have 50a next to a livestock producer, you can negotiate for grazing rights and allow their animals to roam on part of it to classify. It’s complicated, but it’s not a random loophole. It’s so that farmers can afford the large amount of land they need more easily.

Let's just assume that Kim isn't lying or exaggerating greatly about being the one who "comes up with all the skim's photoshoot ideas" and then has to spend that evening, apparently going through all the pictures and deleting bad ones, etc. I don't understand why she wouldn't simply HIRE SOMEONE (or 2-3 people) who can do that shit for her. That is the beauty of having their kind of money; you can delegate tasks to people who are far more skilled at this stuff (like coming up with creative and cool photo shoot ideas, who can go through 100s of photos in a night and delete what is shitty and PROPERLY touch up any issues in the pictures). I can't decide if she is just trying to hire as few assistants as possible because then she has to pay these professionals for their work or if she genuinely believes that she is the only person who can properly come up with photoshoot ideas and then choose the pics that night. I wanna say that ladder is RIDICULOUS because standing on a balcony in your swimwear is far from some innovative idea. And we all know her photoshopping skills are fucking awful. If she would stop being so controlling and learn to delegate those tasks that don't actually require her full on attention, she would be far happier and NOT feel like she's working 100x harder than everyone.

i feel like kim is the worst offender when it comes to acknowledging her privilege. there was this interview from a while back where she said “it’s actually probably harder we did grow up with this privileged life and knowing at a certain age we’re gonna be cut off and can’t ask our parents to pay for anything… so it’s probably harder for us because a lot of people are doing nothing”

I feel like Kendall’s “obsession” with cucumbers is actually an obsession with empty calories. It’s just water and some fiber, you eat enough of them to suppress your hunger but consume zero calories etc(a lot of models and other people who are constantly unhealthy dieting do exactly that). Girls in my high school were doing that, but if asked they would reply that they just simply love cucumbers soooo much. Most of their businesses are failing or underperforming but they keep lying about them being extra profitable just to preserve their image of super-cool hardworking businesswomen. There are tons of video-essays about this, people discussing the revenue, examining documents and such and proof is in the pudding. They are successful but not as successful as they portray themselves and their businesses.

They are then surprised they can start to experience chronic pain or issues which medical treatment can’t fully fix. Only then they’re scared and panicking they might actually get disabled or d*e and no amount of gold and diamonds will prevent that from happening. As they say, death is an ultimate equalizer; both rich and poor are equal once six feet under.

I think when you grow up rich the people you grow up with have trust funds or they get the family business. They don't actually work and if they do it's not that hard. So in her world she might be working hard in comparison to those people. But to the real world, which it doesn't seem they ever had a real taste of, they are just normal workers. Kim probably works just as much as a middle class mom. She's not slaving away 80 hour work weeks to put food on the table. Working class hard work is definitely different from upper class hard work. Maybe it's just perspective. She's still privileged 100% but when your friends take vacations every week and work 10 hours a week. Anything above that will be seen as hard work.

Sort of. The property tax difference isn’t that large, however if your land is classified as agricultural they drop to almost nothing. You have to produce >$9K worth of ag product to classify for this though in most states, some it’s higher. A way you can get around this is let’s say you have 50a next to a livestock producer, you can negotiate for grazing rights and allow their animals to roam on part of it to classify. It’s complicated, but it’s not a random loophole. It’s so that farmers can afford the large amount of land they need more easily.

Unpopular opinion - I do think they're talented and work hard, and I don't think they can quit their influencing/celeb lifestyles to focus on their businesses. I think the talent and creativity in how they built their business is precisely the fact they've managed to tie all their projects together with their brand which is kept up through their celebrity status.
However, I'm so done with the victimhood, cause yeah - they are and have always been insanely privileged. Regardless of the fact they work hard, they never had socioeconomic factors that the average woman has keeping them down. It's so ridiculous to the point I think it's done on purpose since it's the only interesting part of the show and the only thing that provokes a reaction from the audience. Also, it seems like they're desperately trying to milk the cucumber meme, let it go.
The whole show just shows how obsessed they are with their brand, even a funny sketch-like scene (which was the backbone of the old Keeping up) is revisited, repeated for views, analyzed and contextualized, like just let it go. I know people are complaining about the business stuff being boring, but it's not even business content, it's just the Kardashians looking busy, explaining they work hard, and complaining that nobody understands them, every single episode.

The Kardashians show the Kardashian in my opinion, it’s just a glorified version of keeping up with the Kardashian, where we see a lot of the family members are wanting to re-create certain scenes from keeping up with the Kardashian from the earlier seasons as a way to recreate your so-called glory days. It’s telling the family are so out of touch with reality and their relevance is definitely dwindling.
