    Until Abbot was mentioned I genuinely had no idea which government this was that they were talking about. Then I realised that this skit could be completely unchanged aside from the PM in question and it'd be just as accurate.

      Yes because governments are always useless. Alp lnp greens dnc gop tories, labour they are all useless. The only good thing about Abbott is if he got his way the government woukd be so small we wouldnt have needed him, Turnbull or ScoMo or any of the losers the ALP puts forward.

      Yes. When they said they make plenty of announcements but don't do anything I thought...has John Clarke posthumously recorded this about the Smug Scotty Government?! Then they mentioned Abbott and I remembered that his Government didn't do anything either. 8 years of inaction on anything meaningful and billions of tax-payer funds handed to wealthy donors - while real wages still go backwards, cost of living and power still climbs, house prices are out of reach and the climate is on it's last legs. What a great future awaits, hooray!

    For people who didn’t understand or lack context aka American for many years now Australia politicly has gone through a weird phenomenon where at least since John Howard the late 90s not a single PM has lasted in office for their full mandate either through public scandal or internal party politics the median political life of a Aussie prime minister is 2 years if lucky
