It could be the costume. She is an excellent dancer and mover but I was just thinking when I started watching it the first 20 seconds that the costume is taking away from her. I think some thing with fringe and shorter would have enhanced her movements more. His shirt with the sequins resting on the hips and those slacks really really enhance his hip and leg movements. His upper body is fantastic the way he moves it.
