    Super pretty! Thanks for sharing! But I am confused...I thought the swipe color is to be thicker/heavier than the colors so that it sinks and allows the colors to float to the top. If the swipe color is thinner/lighter than the colors, wouldn't it sit on top thereby not showing any colors?

      Thank you! I don’t really know the science behind it but it definitely works this way. Maybe it’s because the thinner paint on top allows the silicone oil in the bottom
      paint colors to float up…but that’s just a guess…

    Beginner here. To which paints (and how much) silicone oil are you adding to them?

    • @dcfluidacrylics6633
      @dcfluidacrylics6633  2 месяца назад

      I added 1 drop of silicone to each of the colorful colors. I didn't add any silicone to the black paint. By the way, you can find the exact info in the description box. All the best giving it a try! 👍

    Das glänzt doch normalerweise nicht so, da ist doch Resin hinzugefügt worden oder?

    • @dcfluidacrylics6633
      @dcfluidacrylics6633  3 месяца назад

      There isn't any resin in this painting. It just looks shiny because it's still wet and there is a light directly above the painting. Once the painting dried it was no longer shiny.

    It Is high time that somebody gives us correct information about proportion of different pouring medias and quantity of silicon oil if it's used. I copy this pictures and number of cells was limited. Total disaster.Your picture is wonderful but....

      I'm sorry to hear yours didn't work out. You can find the exact paint ratios and amount of silicone oil listed in the description box. Keep in mind that if you are using different paint brands from what I'm using you may need to mix your paints in different ratios. E.g., craft paints are often much thinner than Artist's Loft so you would need to use less water (or no water) to get the consistency that I'm using. Also, metallic paints have a tendency to act differently from regular paints so that could also affect the outcome. Also if you're using a different brand of pouring medium or silicone oil from what I'm using that could also be affecting the outcome that you're getting. The outcomes of different fluid art techniques are often very brand or product dependent. Hope that helps.
