From a Millwall fan. INSANE.. He took a struggling side, recently, to within a whisker of The Play Offs with decent Football. No disrespect but do Hull feel they belong in The Promised Land. He will be snapped up. RIDICULOUS.
Derby fan here. What a ridiculous decision, I was gutted when he didn't get a well deserved chance with us and was chuffed when he got the job with you. Such a shame, hopefully he will dust himself down and get straight back to it
Playoffs were always a long shot, but to take it to the last day of the season to be in contention was a huge achievement for a club with Hulls recent history.
I absolutely don't understand that decision! You slightly missed playoffs under parachute payment clubs, and above others? God I hope you don't get Rooney now. Good luck Hull. From a tractor boy.
I truly believe that if Liam was to have been given at least one more season would must likely get in the playoffs or even promotion to the premiership what a crazy decision just at the point where the fans where back and in love with the club again and it felt like we was onwards and upwards the feel good fact was huge I see big things from Liam and I know he will prove his worth at any other club I can imagine he’s going to a club without a manager and going to rip is a new one mark my words
I’m a Birmingham fan….this is unbelievable..seen a lot of hull and look really good this season…this is worse than us getting rid of Eustace….good luck with your lunatic owner ….probably get Rooney 🙄
When your owners take a gamble and spend BIG on mostly LOAN players, you really needed to get into them playoffs, and if like us at Cov fail to win those playoffs, means most of those players will not be there nxt season, as you didnt even get into the playoffs, same applies BUT the owners see this as a massive failure, and wasted money, at Cov we had been gradually building a team, buying most of our players, loaned players left, replaced by perm signings, with the money we got for our 2 best players, since King came in his plan was PL within 5 yrs, last year we made playoffs, this year FAC semi Final, which scuppered our p/off hopes, nxt season he will expect top 6, although Hull did brilliant, they now need to rebuild from scratch and start again, prob top 10 finish, to push again the season or 2 after for top 6, i think like you maybe Hull should have kept him, and had a longer term plan and rebuild with perm club signings.
A John Eustace/Birmingham moment. I was loath to admit city were progressing at a good rate but now you are my no1 choice to go down. There aren't lots of good managers out of work atm. Darren Moore anyone? 😂
that is very simple for Turkish Guys. If someone does not perform success, they should be fire. In England people do not understand this thing. In Turkey, it is very simple. If you are succesfull, you can continue your work.. Hull City is not in Premier League, so the coach is not succesful. Hull City fans should be proud because your chairman wants to be successful.
There's no sentiment in football...When the owner broke the bank to bring in the talent in the Jan window, he wanted a top 6 finish....Liam didn't achieve that. Perhaps the next manager will....Sad, but that's football. City fan and east stander.
I dont think our owner liked the passing football we were playing. We were a work in progress, but i dont think he was convinced this was going to result in attacking domination. How many times at home did we struggle to break down the opposition. Not only that, how many games did we show how naive we were. If we couldnt win or we were a goal up we would leave ourselves wide open at the back. We would get caught out time after time after time. Not sure it was a good decision ,i would think the owner thinks that too, but i can understand it. Given the resources he had at his disposal i think 5th to 8th was about par for a good manager . 7th fits into that but i think the owner was thinking play offs minimum. If you are going to lose 24 million a year on your investment you have a right to choose who spends it.
Mad decision. Surely something must’ve gone on behind the scenes the public doesn’t know about, because just taking it as face value it makes absolutely no sense
im a west ham fan, wife is a hull fan... now i can understand why moyes has gone from WH but liam from hull makes no sense..i dont think any hull fan would of expected play offs this season.. i also dont get why hull keep taking a load of loans as thats never going to work in taking the club forward... good luck to you all
Roseniors boring tip tappy sideways tactics gets us nowhere, home form was very poor and disappointing in front of sell out crowds , we didn't all buy into Roseniors vision of football
I think last season was our best chance at promotion for a long time to come, Money and ambition is nothing without the Footballing knowledge which Rosenior brings.
I'm with you, reactionary move by the owner but sadly typical if you look at teams like Birmingham. All the progress we've made gone just on an owners ill thought out whim
Totally unbelievable! Bet one of his Turkish friends arrives next. Birmingham/Eustace, Sunderland/Mowbray, learnt nothing!! Be very welcome at Sunderland Leroy
The owner better have a very good trick up his sleeve because this move seems extremely harsh to me , It’s summer now and there won’t be many people wearing sleeves for tricks to be produced from 😂
The owners have put an extra £24M into the club. Finishing 7th was classed as a failure. 8 home wins all season is not acceptable. Away form was amazing though. Bad run of results since the turn of the year. Not attacking the opposition in enough games. He has improved the team but these owners won’t accept 7th with all the funds he’s had.
Just a thought. If the owner has put £24m of his own money in Hull must be (at the very least) close to breeching FFP. Was it promotion or points deduction????
Most of the Hull side were loaned, no playoffs means they leave, owners see this as a massive waste of money and failure, they want immediate success, instead of sticking with a good manager and having a long term plan.
I am sorry for your loss. He seemed to get the best out of the players he had. As a Plymouth Argyle fan we would love the luxury of his service. Our Board are Ace!
The buildin’ blocks are in place now, much hard work needed this Summer to get firin’ for the start of 2024/25👍🏻 Style of play I think was a key factor OGJ you know yourself City could be so frustratin’ when we needed to be more attackin’! Sub changes weren’t always the best, (small margins sometimes)! A massive thanks to Acun and Liam for gettin’ us to this position⚽️🔥PLS SIGN JOSH LAURENT FROM STOKE!
Relax everyone. Trust Acun full stop. He knows what he is doing., Liam was good manager just good not fantastic, we need to get off these feelings sorry for ourselves mentally, I love the Acuns decision . Liam needs more experience no doubt. The club needs to move on to better standards ,as a Hull fan I wasn't happy with Liam last 3 months because off dropping amount of points to easy clubs. Anyway, as a Hull fan great decision well done Acun. I belive we be top team in the premier league next 3-4 years mark my words. UTT.

As an old Leeds fan I’ve seen batshit owners and bad decisions more than I have seen buses. But this decision is off the scale. Crikey.👎
I wont sleep now. We’ll get bloody rooney

Sorry to hear that in Plymouth ,so ruthless these days
Must have been to the same school as Allam. The most idiotic decision to be made at the club in my 55 years of support.

Wonder if he fancies Plymouth as head coach

Absolutely BONKERS!
Shotas coming back
2 home wins in 24, 3 wins in 13 after being backed in the transfer window it’s not that much of a shock ….sorry but I do love Liam as a person!
Birmingham City Mark 2.
I think you've nailed it 👍someone with the exact analysis, devoid of sentiment.

Would this possibly affect our chances of delay coming back. Not knowing if he will have the support from a competent manager
What happened to the 3 year plan dint acun say ? Why give him an extension not long ago ??

If we finished 19 or 15 last season we didn’t get sacked but when we finished 7 this season 😢😢😢😢
I feel sorry for Hull fans as it is an horrendous decision. Brum fan.
fabio carvalho my goat doubt we will get him tho

Hull relegated next season
Liam Rosenior could be our next manager 🔴⚪🔴⚪🔴

He didn't always get the best out of players, we have brought a lot of players in other the last few windows.
Rosenior was learning on the job and we need someone more ready.
3 main options for me Danny Rohl , Marti Cifuentes and Will Still
Why would Danny go to Hull who sacked a Manager who took over a recently struggling outfit and got them very close to the playoffs.
Steer clear.
Absolutely gutted, I'm sure Liam will be in high demand.
😢😢
As with players. Managers come and go.
Not of this calibre they dont.
@@mrdeafa25 Unfortunately, Liam's boss didn't think he is of that calibre.

We couldn’t see games out with Liam dropped points at crucial times in the games Acun did say in January play offs is a must
I think abdulkadir omur had to play, on starting 11. At least the last match
not putting Abdulkadir omur on 11 on the last game was a red flag.
He was unfit to start
