This series demonstrates that, for one, to trust humanity is to be ignorant of humanity and humanities history, from the beginning of historical time, continuing onward to today.

In the last couple of years I've been rethinking the Enlightenment as instead a schism in Western Civilization.

Jesus assures us that we will know the truth and thereby the Truth shall make you free. John 8

On any day of glorious sun shine you will see the reasoning of man. He will strike his match and proclaim that he has shed light over the horizon. At night, in his surrounded by his fellows, he will strike his match and proclaim that he has enlightened the darkness. The Lord declares, "Mat_6:23 But if thine eye be evil, thy whole body shall be full of darkness. If therefore the light that is in thee be darkness, how great is that darkness"!The age of reason, fostered by the Angel of light, echo's the voice that once said, and continues to say, "Gen 3:5 For God doth know that in the day ye eat thereof, then your eyes shall be opened, and ye shall be as gods, knowing good and evil.
Gen 3:6 And when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, and that it was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree to be desired to make one wise, she took of the fruit thereof, and did eat, and gave also unto her husband with her; and he did eat.
Gen 3:7 And the eyes of them both were opened,". Faith is a hard road; it requires one to trust someone higher than corrupt humanity. Is anyone out there pure, holy, without fault, and with unlimited love? Let me direct my trust to Him.

It was a good teaching until he got to the Baptism of the Holy Spirit, then he departs from scripture and starts giving his opinion. The Baptism of the Holy Spirit is Gods idea not Wesleys, Everywhere it is experienced in the bible is after salvation. Baptist always stumble at this point, scripture is there guide until they advocate the gifts of the Spirit or the baptism of the Spirit.
