If you can get to the small town of Drøbak, not far from Oslo, I think you'll love it there. Mind you, I was there in 1979, so it's probably changed a lot. That last tip about looking back at paintings from a few years ago is a sure fire way of seeing how one has progressed. Unfortunately, many of us fall into the trap of looking at RUclipsrs who do amazing artwork and feel we are so far behind and may never get there. Personally, I don't look at it that way, and I don't care how good or bad my paintings are, I just love painting. Often I have found a painting that I thought was rubbish, someone else will love it.
Yeah that’s a big trap that I used to fall into on Instagram but now I feel that it’s easier when I look back on my old paintings :) Oh yeah I don’t live close to Oslo but maybe one day I’ll be around ;)
Good timing, I needed to hear this today. Thanks Antonio
You’re welcome Marc :)
